Ur best bet is to plead with them to start Sept 2020, I really don't understand what u meant by u can't defer, like deferring to Sept 2020 isn't open to u or what? I think going for another course at this time will definitely affect u negatively, try get an updated offer letter for next yr Sept and look at it from the brighter side, u have ample time to prepare for ur travel... that's just my problem with paying tuition bfor visa, the long story that follows no be here, u will never gt ur money back 100%,God knows my next application, I'm not paying shishi, if VO isn't ok seeing it in my account then he never intended giving me visa at the first place, not wasting any unnecessary money no more since it makes no difference, if they gonna reject after the whole reassuring with tuition payment then what's the point? once bitten, twice shy.

hello gurus in the house, I'm in state of dilemma right now..my first application was refused base on financial grounds, I made up the deficiency and applied immediately on the 24th July through online route.

Good evening everyone, I've been on the lookout for a long time for universities offering MSC in Animal Science and just this two came up with slightly favorable fees. Uni Of Manitoba and Uni of Saskatchewan.
Does anyone know of any other university please?
I'll hopefully start looking for admission by next month as I'll be concluding my BTech in Animal Production and Health this month end.
Thanks

To those concerned:

Hurricane Dorian is coming on Saturday and it appears to be on a direct track for Halifax!

The rain will be bad but the wind will be worse – which means that major and prolonged power outages are possible.

You should think about gathering up the loose stuff around your yard and you may want to avoid parking under (or even near) large trees this weekend.

Supplies to think about ASAP: gas, cash, prescription medications, bottled water (or fill some jugs at home), food, propane, flashlights, and batteries.

[note: some people fill their bathtubs so they will have extra water for bathing, toilet flushing, etc.]

Please, how do you guys get to pay for online applications? I've tried it unsuccessfully for three times using my gtb debit Master card. All I got is payment not approved.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by trustedward(m): 10:25pm On Sep 07, 2019
We share same grand mother but different grand fathers I.E his mother is my grand mother but his father isn’t my grand father..I decided I’ll b attaching those landed documents cos I feel they would pass for home ties..thank you.
SOPWriter:

I have heard VO said this more than twice, the more the unnecessary document, the more the possibility of your insincerity: either ways are good but the former is not essential.
If I should ask, do you bear the same last name with this uncle of yours?
If not, then I will strongly suggest you don't.

I am not the VO that will handle your application, all posts are from my own point of view, based on experience.

Does the below line mean that those with three-year bachelor's degree in computer science can't apply?

Not all countries offer four years of study for a bachelor's degree. Some are three years. Are graduates from those countries ineligible to apply?

He had the opportunity to defer but didn't do that, he requested for it after the deadline (so the school have every right to turn down his request at this point). All he can do now is plead with them and tell them he didn't defer because he felt CIC will attend to him before resumption (though we all know he made a very big mistake). All I see is someone being too in a hurry to travel and failing to do the right thing at the right time. What he would have done first was immediately his first app was denied he should have deferred his admission (when he still had time) even before reapplying for TRV, but instead he reapplied in July and failed to do the other important aspect of deferring his admission. Also him trying to look for another program that starts in January instead of contacting the admission office to plead with them about letting him start in September 2020 shows he is yet to learn from his mistake.
I hope he settles down and do the needful this time

Don't worry about that, you can apply for the said program. This is one of the reasons why transcripts are requested, because it shows all the courses you took throughout your bachelor's degree program. Don't worry, you are good to go as long as you meet the grade requirement.

UK degrees are 3 years and are internationally accepted and no university will reject one. You get the drift? Usually universities put 3 or 4 years of study for a bachelor's as part of their requirements but I guess this one missed it. You can email them to correct their error.

Good morning everyone,

It has been a while. How's everyone doing? Hope we're all OK and praying too ☺. Congratulations to those who got their TRVs and also to those who are yet to receive it, it will end in praise.

I got into Canada this past Thursday. PoE was smooth.

Here is a bit of what I can remember

CBSA agent: please give me your acceptance letter and proof of payment
Me: handed them over to her.

CBSA Agent: what are you going for
Me: MELS at Brandon University, Manitoba.

Agent: how do you intend to pay the rest
Me: my uncle will be paying for it. Also I have a TA position at the school.

Agent: what does your uncle do?
Me: I don't really know but just know he lives here, don't know what he does too.

Agent: that's rather weird. That you don't know all these. How then has he been helping.
Me: he's been helping since back home in Nigeria.

Agent: OK.

Agent: will the TA stipend be enough to take care of the rest?
Me: yes it would.

Agent: OK.

Agent: please wait. Then she goes to print the study permit. Then comes back. She hands it to me

Me: please will this allow me work off campus?
Agent: yes.
Me: thank you.

Agent: just go through there.
Me: thanks.

I told her I didn't have the statement of account and she said no problem. She didn't need that.

I had an apple watch with me, my brother wanted me to change the screen for him. Nothing was asked of me there.
But at the Agricultural section (the people you submit the declaration form to for them to mark), they asked if I had seeds and other stuff, I said yes. I even ticked it on the declaration form. They said okay, no problem. I also ticked that I had unaccompanied goods (goods to follow, which is my bag that contains my food items).

Note:
Bring food o, as in traditional food - Ogbono, Egusi, Oha, efo etc. Leave meat and milk/milk-containing food items. Just bring food items - indomie o, spaghetti o, so long as your bag no pass your weight allowance, just bring. Whatever you bring, please declare them on the card. Answer questions with confidence and then continue praying so they don't find anything amiss.
Carry blanket too if you can. Canada is very very very very cold (see as the 'very' long eh, it doesn't even begin to explain how cold it is).

Also, get thermal clothing for the cold. Buy bathroom slippers too. Buy shoes o - for women, buy walking shoes (see pictures, these pictures are just examples of what you need), leave those normal women shoes, they won't give you any protection at all.

I changed some of my money at the Bureau dé Change downstairs (at the arrival section). CAD costs 286 there instead of 290 upstairs and in other places.

I forgot my bag of food items so now I need someone to please bring it for me. Anyone coming to Canada in the coming days? I will pay to have it sent to Brandon from wherever you are. Pleaseeeeeee.

Ayodeji786, Blema111, Martinomi, congrats. Also I Ayodeji and Blema111 please I need either of you's help with the bag because you guys will be coming to provinces close to mine. Abeg

Also don't forget winter boots and jackets o

This is it: these "countries that do not have their years of studies to be four years" (common among European Nations, especially Schengen) mostly request for A-Level or equivalent qualifications, in order to undergo their BSC programs, unlike their counterparts that just need your O-Level certificate.

You have nothing to worry about, just include your secondary and post-secondary school qualifications, also your Bachelor degree transcript, and you will be fine.

I could barely understand what you wrote here tho(written English is poor). But with ma little understanding, its obvious they are reminding you to come pick ur passport after u have abandoned it with them for long.. Do urself some good by going there to pick ur passport.... I wanna assume you were refused, reason why u feeling reluctant to go pickup ur passport.. And if it is an approval, then it means God loves you so much, for ur SOP to have scaled through with a poor write-up(I haven't seen ur SOP tho, but with what I just read here, its obvious ur SOP would be badly written too).. So ma little advise is to go pick ur passport before the deadline, if its a refusal.. order for ur GCMS note and re-fire.. AND most importantly work on ur written English, I must tell u its really bad.. No offense intended.. Peace
