Because no iboman is in the first 5 top positions abi? When it happened to the Yoruba under Jonathan, you all said it was politics that the Yoruba didn't play their politics well, now that the ibos didn't play their politics well, they lost out and the next thing they started threatening secession, why? It's because the ibos always have the victim mentality forgetting their deeds brought about these consequences. The ibos Can't intimidate the rest of us and that's why other Nigerians are united in their opposition to igbo greed and misadventures

Nigerians can attack Nigerians, outsiders should not even try it on us. We are always united against outsiders. That's a good spirit.

Ive heard that appeal enough times. Im wiser now. Its called kicking the can downhil. Nigeria is a landacape of appeals, prayers and fastings.

"Please lets allow the law to take its course, we must remain at peace".

6months later.
"We must be law abiding, authorities are ontop of the matter".

12months later.
"Lets pray to God for healing, this incidence is a tragedy but we must not seek revenge".

18months later.
"The governor has ordered that we all fast for three days to avert any more tragedy of this scale. I hereby call on all of us to remain at peace and forgiving during the three days fast"

24months later.
"It has come to our notice that certain people want to divide this country and cause enmity. We must remain our brothers keeper and shame the devil. The tragedy that happened today is the work of devil. Let's be law abiding and refrain from taking law into our hands".

....and it continues like that into 6yrs, 20yrs, 50yrs, on and on we continue to roll out appeals, prayers and fasts.

Arent you tired of the unity scam? grin

We made the xenophobia retaliation right without celebrities or politicians, Tinubu is not a good product for presidency...

Immediately after the 2015 elections he should have gone on a charm offensive. Visiting the areas he lost. After all GEJ conceded peacefully. That would have further united Nigeria.

Who else noticed how Unified, Patrotic, common feelings, and common purpose of Zeal to Fight Back among Nigerians during this xenophobia in South Africa?

Many people were proud to be a Nigerian for ones after witnessing how our citizens reacted online and physically to the killings of their Countrymen in South Africa, even before the FG response. This is a sign that Nigerians still love themselves and can still turn things around for good if they can careless about which tribe becomes the president and care more about what the would be President or Elected person will do to stop rapping of the Nigerian Entity.

If we can show the same spirit like the one we showed during this recent xenophobic attack on Nigerians in South Africa, we would banish tribalism and take our country back from the evil few rapping the Nigerian entity as quoted by Prof Utomi in his book titled "WHY NOT"

A nation is a stable community of people, formed on the basis of a common language, territory, history, ethnicity, or psychological make-up manifested in a common culture. A nation is more overtly political than an ethnic group; it has been described as "a fully mobilized or institutionalized ethnic group"

Also, these few days, nothing like boko haram abi fulani herdsmen etc, they are waiting for Nigeria to declare war on south Africa, so they can exercise their authority.

Funny country, one thing about Nigeria, is once their is an external threat be it Ebola, xenophobia etc, Nigerians unite immediately, as if they have not been having issue.

Xenophobia: South Africa speaks on ‘cutting’ bilateral ties with Nigeria

The South African Acting High Commissioner to Nigeria, Amb Bobby Moroe, on Sunday said his country will not cut bilateral ties with Nigeria.

He said his country remained committed to strengthening bilateral ties with Nigeria.

Moroe told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Abuja that the relationship between Nigeria and South Africa would remain strong and on course.

The envoy said President Muhammadu Buhari and his South African counterpart, Cyril Ramaphosa, were expected to meet in October to discuss modalities to address attacks on Nigerians living in that country.

Meanwhile, in a statement by Khusela Diko, spokesperson to the President, the South African Government said President Buhari’s state visit would reinforce the bond between both countries.

Diko stated that the visit, next month, would further strengthen their bond and jointly develop responses to challenges affecting people and businesses in South Africa and Nigeria.

According to him, President Cyril Ramaphosa held discussions, on Sept. 6, with Nigeria’s Special Envoy, Amb. Ahmed Abubakar, on violence in South Africa and developments in Nigeria around South African businesses.

Ironically and shamefully, the looting of South African businesses in Nigeria took place only here in south west and not in the East who were mostly victims of xenophobia.

unless you're obsessed with unity you wouldn't see one were there isn't.
