Please, I want to immediately apply for an international passport as I've never gotten one before so I can register for Ielts, WES as I prepare to create a profile. Am single at the moment but planning to apply as married ( willing to do court wedding around the time I will be creating my profile). Can I still go ahead and apply for the international passport with my maiden name? Considering the fact I will be married in few months time

Please i need some clarification. I've submitted my profile with WES, although not all documents have been sent. I want to add my CIPM certificate so as to claim two or more degree. Please how do I go about this.
I'll appreciate your response.

Apologies for getting back to you late. Just saw this. The HRDC DHRM is the one I can authoritatively confirm that has been evaluated positively. I don’t know for others.

Good morning team,
Please i have two questions i need clarifications on
1. Can i add my NYSC teaching experience to my 2 years experience, making 3years work experience. I have the two years experience in a different sector

2. If i have a spouse that has relatives in canada, can i claim points with it if i am the primary applicant?

Thanks

Select 'Sciences, General'

Guys, please I need urgent assistance.

In the EE pool under where you fill your field of study in school... It seems there is no Electrical engineering.

Please how do I go about this?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by nomad26: 6:54am On Sep 09, 2019
Of course you can. I'm married and all my submitted documents bore my maiden name. Note that I didn't change my name after marriage sha (still don't get why anyone does this )
If you get a passport now and then choose to change your name after marriage, note that you will need to get another passport and also swear a 'one and same person' affidavit.
My advice is stick with your maiden name until you've migrated to Canada, you can then change your name over there if you still wish to do so.

Hi Everyone,

What else can I do to increase my CSR score. Have been in the pool for months @445, Masters level for education, age impacted negatively on my score, and my birthday is fast approaching again.. I will appreciate any advise on what I can do to increase my score.

Thanks

First of all, you need to know what your current crs score is. I strongly suggest you read page 1 of this thread carefully, it will help you massively. Good luck.

Hello, hope it is not too late to join and do you know if i can do the Adv. Dip in Bus Admin because i have a Bachelor of Arts first degree
CanadaPR:

Please don't go for HR......... Their results takes over 1 Year to come out after completion. Don't do 6 months program too because it has no project and WES will likely give 1 Semester. I'll advise ADV Dip in Bus Admin because the lecturers are really hard working and understand our plans. You can combine TEF with HRDC without stress

Whew! Did you just say you do not understand why any married lady/woman changes her name to her hubby's? Lol .

Though your advice is on point, I feel there's no need adding @ bolded.

A short certification like CIMA in which you can claim two or more certificates with can help you get more point. There is a thread on CIMA, kindly join and get your info from there. Regards.

Yes, you can add your Nysc experience to make it three years.

2. Not so sure so I would rather you wait for the elders to intervene. Topsmamen and Ifeoma77, joo2018 can help you with that.

Please do you know if only the 9 months diploma could be used or if the other short courses of 6 or 3 months offered by the HRDC would be sufficient
Why not write CIMA certificate in Business Accounting? It’s short and it’s evaluated as one year college level diploma.

Yes, you can. Several people have done this and got PR. Search the thread for their PPR scripts.

Thanks

If relatives include spouse's brother/sister or half-brother/half-sister, then yes, you can. Check CIC here.

I have a question.

My brother and his wife are about to start the EE process, my brother is the primary applicant because He has a Masters degree. He has sent His transcript to WES, does His wife still need to send her own transcript to WES as well? Her reasoning is, since Her's is a Nigerian degree it is going to delay the process for them. Both of them are writing IELTS at next month though.

Thank You.

my people i have come again oh. i need help from the ogas and madam here. i applied for uk visa and was denied. now i dont have the denial document or anything to support that. what do i state under the give explanation part as i am not sure what the denial reason was and can i raise an loe for the supporting document as i cannot find the denial document. some should help me

The refusal letter isn't required. As for what to write, you can indicate that you have been refused a UK visa, mention the date and maybe mention a generic reason like lack of sufficient ties.

I did exactly this and got PPR.

Good luck

use the crs tool to determine if she needs to evaluate or not. If they have enough points without it good to go(her bsc is worth 8 points if evaluated).

Thank you very much for this detailed explanation. Am sticking to my maiden name throughout the process. I assumed am obligated to change name since I'll be claiming that am married but I think with my marriage certificate, am good to go.

Hello all. Silent reader here. Please which is the fastest credential evaluation body? WES, IQAS, ICAS? I am a lawyer with a Master's in Law from a Dutch university and I will be submitting only the Master's for evaluation (I don't have the stamina for Naija institutions).

Also, does anybody have good experience (read: good grades) writing the IELTS General in Germany? I wrote the Academic in 2015 in Dortmund and my scores weren't great (L - 7.5, W - 6.5, R - 7, S - 7). To be fair though, I didn't prepare/study for that test AT ALL. I just went in with the mentality that I am a native speaker and was thoroughly humbled by the test. Should I wait and write IELTS when I'm in Nigeria in a couple of months, or brave Europeans and their misunderstanding of African accents and write the test in Germany/Netherlands/Belgium? I'm in my 30's so I need to max the scores. Thanks
