Can we cap Ebere Eze now? That is the only player that i see that can replace iwobi in the AM position. Etebo is not an AM. He is better as a CM or DM. 7 Likes |

Wetin u wan mk I talk. The players did very well but was disappointed with samu the whole encounter, while Aina did better defensively in the 2nd half. I think the substitution killed the game. Simon lacked ideas while esiti for iwobi was ideal defensively but the former was too slow and heavy for my liking. Oshimeh did very well but was frustrated by the referee multiple times. The midfield trio of aribo, etebo and iwobi was fluid and compact at the same time but crashed when Iwobi was subbed off. With our full components in an official encounter Ukraine would have been murdered. The transition while attacking was a delight but samu needs a lot to still learn. He is becoming to selfish to my liking benji93: |

Awesome performance from the lads.. Imagine the level of play following just 2 days of training against the Ukrainian that have been in camp for almost a week. The future is really bright though our coach need to be more positive in his approach to games. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

tbaba1234:. True talk. To be honest, once Moses Simon came on,I knew we were gonna have issues. We were playing deep,so we more or less needed fast wingers to aid our counter attacks. He's a good player no doubt, but this wasn't the right match for him. |

tbaba1234: Agreed without reservation. It should now be apparent that it's better to be the top outstanding player in lower club and league. Than an anonymous mouse in top club and league. Aribo is essentially a league one player but if he was invited to the SE last season there would have been outcry here that he's not good enough. |

The team played very well. The officials of the game gifted the ukraine team the draw. Officiating was piss poor. Even kalu got another legitimate pk which was overlooked by the dubious Italian ref. Also alot of chances were missed and the major culprits were Iwobi and chukwueze jihday: |

Aribo did well IMHO the midfield crashed when Iwobi was subbed off. His performance reduced in the 2nd half but for a player coming into the team few days ago he did well. komekn: |

This match was a testament of what I have cried for a long time. We are better with an offensive set up than a Conservative one. I hope Rohr learnt from it (if he would learn). When we set up as an offensive unit, even the best teams will find it difficult against us. These goes to us rebranding our philosophy. It will cut across our ideas in the type of selection of players and training pattern. The first half was a brief insight to how good we can become and we should always select from the defence to attack with that mind set. Due to this, I will only judge the team from the first half which was brilliant. 2 Likes 1 Share |

The player that most impressed me was Ajayi who was brilliant with his tactical reading of plays. I was also astonished with his passing range. The down part to his game is his lack of pace which can become a liability to the team against pacy forwards. 2 Likes 1 Share |

COOL10: It shows Rohr’s lack of ideas when it comes to match reading the game. Secondly, Zinchenko was pulling lots of strings in the game and Rohr did not think of checkmating it but instead allowed the team to sit back, given them lots of time and space on the ball. 1 Like |

I think Rohr was punishing Iheanacho for missing the flight but dropping him for the whole game was not ideal to me. We were wasting chances up front and we needed that clinical finish up top. Rohr’s lack of invention reared it's ugly head again. Iheanacho should have come in, with Osimhen going to the side to bring in more pace to the front line. Spreading the middle for Nacho to Bury. Instead he opted for Simon Moses which reduced our pace at the top. 2 Likes |

There is nothing that an Aribo can do, an Etebo can't do better. We need an Azubuike more than we need either of Aribo or Etebo. 3 Likes |

Iwobi’s confidence was through the roof today and showed lots of class. However, Rohr needs to teach him and a lot of players in the squad not to dwell on the ball too long. We need to move with pace and fluidity. Also with fast movement of the ball to disrupt the defensive shape of our opponents and also prevent them from regrouping at the back when we are countering. |

Aribo is a great addition to the team and fits in with the offensive pacy play of the team. However, I would like to watch him in a more possessive set up to see how he dictates play. |

Earthquake1: Stop making it look like you are oblivious to the fact that Nacho has not had a steady run of games and lack of full time games. He used to be one of the most clinical strikers in Europe and I think in the history of the EPL. Such talent does not vanish into the thin air. If we join hands to let it waste, we will be doing ourselves a disservice. |
