It is not about me. We were very wasteful and unclinical upfront. We sometimes need to put sentiments aside and think of solutions to fix our problems. If not we harm ourselves in the long run.

My analysis
1. Chukwueze = selfish
2. Osimhen= wasteful
3. Uzoho = No 1 goalie for now
4. Samuel kalu = workerholic attacker
5 Aina = good offensively but error prone defensively
6. Iwobi = nice playmaker but smtimes misplaces pass
7. Esiti = dint impress
8. Aribo =was just flashing
As for rohr, he is very lucky, shevchenko would av protected his lead or add more to finish off d game with great subs

Uzoho number 1

Samuel kalu is good abeg

I hope esiti gets more chances,if he wont impress zuby and co are around the corner

Stop making it look like you are oblivious to the fact that Nacho has not had a steady run of games and lack of full time games. He used to be one of the most clinical strikers in Europe and I think in the history of the EPL.

Such talent does not vanish into the thin air. If we join hands to let it waste, we will be doing ourselves a disservice.

You wanted Iheanacho to come on in 15minutes

The same 15 minutes you said were not good enough for him to score at Leicester grin

We need to sort our left back role. Collins is a hard working fella and puts in his shift while defending. However, he does not give me that mobile left back play, getting up top and putting in crosses or driving at goal.

Maybe Rohr told him to play with his foot on the brakes. However, we would be deadlier if we had another bringing in the runs Aina offered down the right.

15 minutes for us to use to try to make something of our chances. That will not classify as an opportunity.

You should know football enough for me not to explain this. It is too basic.

Super Eagles need to be more ruthless. We let Ukraine off the hook IMO. It should have been a blood bath. I hate talking about referees but today was just too bad.

There is nothing that an Aribo can do, an Etebo can't do better. We need an Azubuike more than we need either of Aribo or Etebo.

That Azubuike is really a pocket sized battleship....He was everywhere today in u23...winning balls...long range passes....long range accurate shots...he literally covered every blade of that pitch......he needs to come into super eagles...

Uzoho did well today, is Maduka's better we simply do not know. He Maduka needs to be tried and tested.

Aribo MOTM for me he drives the whole team forward all the way from a defence based position.

Aina had a good game Barr some lapses in defence, but he added to the team with contribution to the attack creating added cohesion in the midfield.

Jamilu does one thing and that's defend lacks confidence and composure and rarely contributes to the attack and or adds team cohesion.

Iwobi brought unusual aggression with his trademark ball possession he was outstanding in the AM role.

Samu is good at what he does but needs more maturity to read the game and play for the team.

Osimhen is not the answer his hold up play and ability to bully defenders and impose himself on the game not on the level of Ighalo. He had a decent game not outstanding.

Etebo is becoming the most consistent and reliable SE player we have. What prevents him from moving to the next level is offensive play and assists with goals.

Kalu and Moses are like twins lots of huffing and puffing but very little to show for it. End product is very suspect. But an ok game.

Our Defence was OK Ekong the best of the CB's nothing new learned.

Esiti was not good he is too heavy and immobile and is not a replacement for Iwobi. His introduction changed the game dynamics at that time negatively. But giving him the benefit of the doubt. It's difficult to come in the way he did.

All the other substitutes thier appearance was academic not enough time to do show much. Dennis did show a little spark towards the end.

Finally, a great result considering it was a handball ball goal. Worrying though is the way we lost composure so quickly.

Good analysis from you

Agreed with 95 percent of what you said

Well said

Samuel Kalu showed us the importance of a technical winger who is good with the ball. He was a shining light today. However, he needs to work on creating chances than trying to do it himself.

Wetin u wan mk I talk. The players did very well but was disappointed with samu the whole encounter, while Aina did better defensively in the 2nd half.

I think the substitution killed the game. Simon lacked ideas while esiti for iwobi was ideal defensively but the former was too slow and heavy for my liking. Oshimeh did very well but was frustrated by the referee multiple times.

The midfield trio of aribo, etebo and iwobi was fluid and compact at the same time but crashed when Iwobi was subbed off.

With our full components in an official encounter Ukraine would have been murdered. The transition while attacking was a delight but samu needs a lot to still learn. He is becoming to selfish to my liking

Bro aribo didnt have a bad debut , he scored, this is a dream debut for aribo

I hope he keeps on improving sha, not the best of his game thou

You now want him to turn things around in the the same Rohr's system that (according to you) was allegedly holding him down

Osimhen was a monster today. A true warrior and harshly treated by the referee on repeated occasions. What he lacks in power, he makes up with pace, skill and hardwork.

A brilliant addition to the Super Eagles and will pay off in the long run.

He needs to add lots of tactical movement to his game. He should study players like Firmino, Soldado and Lewandowski to understand that strikers need to do more than troubling the opposition back line. Sometimes dropping back when the ball is in the offensive third will make his team mates easily pick him out.

We needed someone more clinical up front because we were wasting chances. It is too basic.

Who lacks power? Oshimeh wey bully the Ukraine CBs on one on one duels? U watch the match at all? That boy is the closest thing to Didier Drogba. He is rugged pacey, hungry and prolific in front of goal.

In the first half, our pressing was impressive when we pushed. This should be a theme for the selection of our forward line. We need ti make restricting build up play of our opponents a priority.

What he lacks in power

Understand before rushing in to attack. I did not say Osimhen lacks power. There were times he lost the ball in some physical battles but made up with electrical runs to win it back.

He is far more mobile than Drogba. He looks a player that can comfortably play on the wings and utilise his pace. So where he was short in power, he made up with pace.

Understand?

Yea I made that point few pages ago when the game was still in progress that aribo didn't put in his best in the game. The little he gave may be due to the fact that he is not used to the team at the moment.

Aribo had a good debut that every player will crave for. His touches wey good, didn't lose possession, kept things in the middle simple and as well initiated attacks few times. He's best is yet to come but so far I think Rohr likes what he saw in the kid already

I really enjoyed the game. Full of intensity. The atmosphere was electrifying. Didn't looked like a friendly at all. Kudos the Ukrainian fans.

Back to the game, our boys movements, ball retention and attacking instincts were superb today especially in first half. Individually and team wise, they were great.

Long gone are those days where we couldn't control the ball or string two to three passes together. We have to thank Rohr for that.

Our wingers in kalu and Samuel were too hot for the Ukrainian defense. Kalu infact should have gotten a second penalty. We had 8 attempts at goal within the first 20 minutes. The host defense was in sixes and sevens.

Aribo, Etebo and Iwobi were a delight to behold. Hopefully Aribo should replace Ogu permanently. Esiti should please never come near us again. He is too bulky, too slow and simply lacking football intelligence.

Uzoho would certainly have caught Mahrez's freekick. On no account should Akpeyi be called back.

Finally the Linesman and referee were wrong. 10 times out of 10 their equalizer is a clear Handball.

Eitherways.. I really enjoyed myself

Etebo is a replica of what our midfield set up should have. Pace and tenacity. He really earned his pay today and deserves the accolades he gets.

However, I also need to see him do more with distribution to help build up plays. Although that has a lot to do with the manager.

I think the players deserve commendation as a whole. Rohr needs to shift his mind from conservative and negative play. He csn build a quality side if he sets his mind to attack.
