A South African pastor, Alfred Ndlovu has died of malnutrition after going without food for 30 days when he tried to emulate Jesus Christ and fast for 40 days and 40 nights.

South Africa reports that the 44-year-old pastor left home on June 17 for a nearby bush to have prayers, just like Jesus did.

Religious people need to realize that fasting requires wisdom and knowledge.

Divine masters like Jesus and Moses; including African Traditional Priests of the old era, built their spiritual strength usually step by step as learners first. Not by rushing to become masters.

You cannot fast without observing the laws guiding fasting; so as not to injure/ destroy your human body.
I hope the 'zealots' without knowledge ( more likely to be found within pentecostal Christianity: the least knowledgeable sect of the great religion of Jesus) are taking note.

Eyah Rip.. Its not easy to bé God's choosen prophet..u one emulate jesus..u don forget say jesus mum wasnt impregnated but ur mum was..u can nvr b jesus cos he is special being just like muhammad (saw) is also special..

His purpose was wrong I believe he could have done it well without any problem if he didn't claim what he is not and had asked the holy spirit for help. Greater things you'll do in my name that's the promise of God to his people
