Hi guys, pls i intend to apply for Canada tourist Visa, but the DOB on my international passport is wrong, do you think that might be a problem? Since its just visiting visa?

My tourist visa application was denied based on purpose of visit.

My visa was approved online route.applied 26th June.approval 10/9/19.but my husband was refused.we applied together.though I travelled last year to canada to visit my sister,I applied with my mum (paper route) and we were both given.I have a valid Us visa till 2020 don’t know if that’s why I was given again?.pls how do I go about my husbands denial he was denied Us visa last year and he stated it there,thank u.

Make a new passport oo, I’m no expert but talking out of experience , better you spend that 40k than been rejected based on the what could have been avoided.

Hello all, I am a Canada PR holder and I applied for a visitors visa for my sister on 25 of July 2019. Today she got a letter titled “ validity of your biometric” which explains that her biometric is valid till 2029. Note that she did her biometric since she submitted her application.
I just want to know what the letter means. Is it sent to people whose visa’s are denied too? Please enlighten me on this. Thank you

It is normal to get BVL before decision. Sometimes they come almost simultaneously.

Note that the time between the BVL and the final decision has no correlation with approval or refusal.

To visit a friend and his family, and it was well documented since they said it was vague for my first application.

I don't know if it's cos the time has passed already though.

No signing. Just filling and uploading. You can put your name and date. At the end of the application you would be required to attest that all the information you provided is correct.

Congrats. This means the application wasn't fully approved when you got the passport request in august.

Biometric is for both online and paper application.

Someone who has applied for tourist visa last year and was denied. Applied for study visa this year and was also denied. Is it advisable for the person to apply for visiting visa again with hubby? Won't it look like a desperate move?

No need to apply again, just try another country first, cos if you do it tells you’re desperate

Smiled and just told myself dis people just dey collect our money ni. The reasons are not valid. All the best to the other applicants.

Stay away from Canadian embassy.

I applied on the 9th of August via paper route. I got my BVL mail this morning. However, the purpose of my intended visit is over. I'm being optimistic here, can I still use the visa to travel when I eventually get it. The validy of the visa is 6 months, correct?
