Good Afternoon guys.

I’m new to this Uber Business. I would be glad if someone puts me through.

I want to know if it would be profitable to use my Lexus Es330 2004 model for uber. I plan to drive it myself.

If yes, how much should I expect to make weekly.

Thanks in anticipation of your responses.

I never thought anyone would take a badagry express way request, the farthest anyone should go along that route is mile 2. I have never seen a road as bad as that.

The guy is probably new in town and maybe an interior designer. Is it possible he drives a 4matic, too? Probably not.

Taking notes...

List of Bad roads.
1. Badagry express rd

I am just new in Lagos, but I've never seen any road as bad as badagry express way. I wouldn't even drive my enemy's car to badagry, I will pity him.

Chief, I'd love to call your attention to something : in Lagos, no matter how careful and patient you are to other road users, misfortune could beset anyone.
I started this hustle fully on Monday, never drag the road with incoming vehicles, maintain my lane and been trying to drive carefully on potholes, but the worst imagined yesterday along Lagos -Badagry expressway yesterday, an Okada ram my car from behind and broke my brake light and a plastic on my bumper.
Before, i could open the door, he zoomed off and there was nothing i could do at that point because the road was treacherous with long traffic, is't my fault? NO
Could i have managed the situation better ? NO
The best thing one can do at this moment is get a comprehensive insurance, with that, you won't have to worry about the bills.
May God help us all.

Next time u hear Lagos Badagry express road. you ll think twice b4 plying the axis. those area is treacherous.

Let the veterans come to your aid. But I don't think such car is OK for a full time uber/bolt job, regardless the fact you're driving it yourself. The fuel consumption and maintenance cost might make the gains not worth it.
I think it might be cool though if it's meant for occasional uber work; like weekend jobs.

Let the the ogas patapata give you their more informed advice's.

That road is only meant for tippers and trucks. It appears govt has forgotten that route. Many abandoned road projects like overhead bridges on the road till you get to badagry.

They usually hang around Hughes Avenue and d mainroads around there usually wearing dirty orange t shirt. But now they have started patrolling in towing vans so u have to b vigilant.

As per blufffing, never follow them to their office no matter the lie they tell u...NEVER follow them. The last one i encountered jumped into d car before i locked it....i drove to d next street, parked and started shouting at him to come down before i call ppl say na thief. The dude got scared as u was about to drive off, came down....na me even give an 200 naira to take bike.

Last last if u get cash...just dash am 500 but never ever follow dem to their office. They will tell u u will just sign...na lie o.

northbird:
Please, can you share your experience with the yaba touts, of all the local govt touts, the yaba guys seems the most notorious. Also, the bluffing, how did you wiggle out of the situation
and these guys, do they just spring out of nowhere or there are specific areas to watch out for them.

Are there drivers who feel inferior if a rider sat at the back seat? Picked up this girl and she was trying to explain to me that she needed to sit at the back in order to change her dress, needs space to arrange her stuffs... Had to interrupt and jokingly told her that the fare remains the same no matter where a rider sits and as a matter of fact, I prefer make dem sidon for back so that everyone go answer him or her papa name.

When I take taxis, I always seat behind the driver's seat.
Am very paranoid and can be pressing imaginary brake and throttle if i'm on the passengers seat
