Comfortably better than the movie.

abeg is the season 2-3 still good? Cuz everything seems to have ended in season 1, I don't want to go and watch rubbish abeg.

Well I saw the trailer and saw how bad it was.. I still went ahead to download it.. I have only myself to blame.. I just want to be sure I'm not crazy.. Same thing with new Netflix series I-Land.. Netflix actually greenlighted a show that features overly actractive people to run around a beach killing one another..never seen anything more pretentious on TV.. at a point I thought it was a bad parody of lost and hunger games. That shows has to be the worst thing from Netflix.. I just pity people who actually pay and subscribe only to get shows like this.

The Righteous Gemstones is from HBO, and HBO don't make terrible shows. From what I could gather from the synopsis, the plot revolves around a self serving televangelist family, that use religion to enrich their pockets. The show could be the closest cousin to another HBO gem, Succession.

Danny McBride has a good track record with HBO; Eastbound & Down and Vice Principals are hilarious AF comedies. I'm expecting more of the same from his latest, The Righteous Gemstones.
