why didn't you show your bravery by protesting that day coward? why did Fuoye SUG ran for cover? why not condemned the students attack and unruly behavior against the first lady

how would you feel when someone harass your mom a public figure at a public gathering that shouldn't have attracted violence

the childishness in you will not make you think straight. so because Nigeria is operating democracy means you should be allowed to constitute nuisance and behave like hooligans?

the mumu like you didn't see where I condemned the police, the students were not innocent as well, if the students had guns, the police would have had causalities in that scene too. pls reason with your brain for once,.at least to prove your parents aren't wasting tuition fees on your blockhead

I like your submission and you are right from another perspective. My concern is what will you call the action of these policemen? Is it professional? Even if students are rioting, dr own duty is to maintain orderliness, to calm d situation. Are they maintaining law and order? Is shooting at the unarmed students the right way of stopping d riot? They should learn to discharge dr duties professionally??

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nigerian_states_by_population

The link above shows the population estimates of Nigerian states based on the 2006 census. From the figures, Anambra and Imo states are more populous than 4 South West states: Ogun, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti. Anambra is the 10th most populous state in Nigeria and Imo is the 14th.
I ask you again, where did that rubbish you wrote up there come from?

my brother the police have all the blames, those Kids quoting just want me to write what will suit them but I'm not here for that, I'm a member like them

the npf said they have exhausted all means to disperse the overzealous youth, I think the reason why the police responded negatively is because they realized the protest had been hijacked by opposition party members and the police have no choice than to save the first lady life. if the first Lady was injured or killed by students that day, this one 4 youths were lost, it would have been a mass burial that day

the police was wrong and the students was not right. in fact Fuoye SUG caused this nonsense even if the school is a state school, the first lady is still attending to the women in that town, courtesy demand that he wait for the first Lady to finished with his official mission that alone will give her the sense of belonging in addressing the students but she was not even federal govt worker or phcn personnel, going to her in the first place was outright rubbished

I might not give a damn about all these politicians but I'm one of those that criticised her and her husband for playing isolated politics in their first govt now she's liberal some unruly students came up with their own absurdity

See how poor ekiti is. South West states are only good in the media.
Except Lagos, the other southwest states only exist in the media

You are absolutely correct. This has been the result of long years of internal hostility and duplicity of political system. Late Ooni of Ife - Oba Sijuade in the 90s complained bitterly about the dilapidated cities and undeveloped physical structures in Yoruba towns as a result of long years of crisis in the South West.

Today, outside Lagos, South West is the least developed region in the South

was it inside her office they went to meet her to help them talk to the authority? what's the essence of them having VC and DVCs, if Fayemi's wife is the one in position to talk to phcn for them?

it's the responsibility of their VC not Fayemi's wife

History repeats itself overtime, this also happened between Ibori and PTI students in 2002, and OBJ vs Unizik students in year 2000. Nigerian leaders' body language says 'carry on' on crimes originating from it's officials and stooge.

AK-47 has long replaced common sense and dialogue, the result is increased emergence of insurgents in their clusters in more numbers than what we are currently experiencing. Leaders and law enforcement agencies were once students and will agree that their old selves would have equally deviated if in same situation during their university days. I actually think students protest is easy to nip in the bud than other civil protest, the secret is - align with them, sing their solidarity song and then listen to them, you don't need to commit anything aside from investigation the situation which is power issue in this case.
However you don't confront students with security agencies before attempting to address them else the result would be outright breakdown of law and order. Students and youths in Nigeria dislike law enforcement agents especially in their gathering. I hope we'll utilize the lessons learnt and circumvent future occurrence.

It is declaration time.
Let those close the police, starting from the IGP, to DPO in all over this nation.
In as much as they have child/children.
But it appears the foolish acts of the errand officers actions seems to be having the backing of their bosses, hence, the continuous killing of unharmed citizen.
No one will do it for you, you will by your own hands take the lives of your own child /children with the same arms you use in talking joy out of people's home.
The #10 sugar sellers, the pure water hacker, the ata rodo seller, fufu seller, who still pay taxes, who's Money were suppose to be used in protecting them.
Just imagine, unharmed students with Nigerian Police with AK47.
Somebody's children o.
