What I noticed is that these victims are young and somewhat untushed, probably unexposed, likely virgins like first year university students. Seems the killer(s) targets specific type of ladies.

I also won't be surprised if the killer is not one person. It could be that these murders are required as part of a cult initiation process, considering the pattern of killings (the hotel room scenario, white handkerchief and the victims bound as if they engaged in sado-masochism without any visible signs of pre-death struggle). In Thailand, when you go in a hotel with someone and want to leave alone. You will be told to wait while the preceotion goes to look if the person you came with is ok. I think that should be implemented in all the hotels in Nigeria.

It would have been possible for the man to book a room in that same hotel without the victim knowing. He would walk in into her room and do whatever he wanted to do. He would walk to his room and would even be there when the victim is found.

One thing is sure the man uses an hotel with no CCTV.

The killer might not enter the hotel from outside but from the room he booked. Perpetrate the evil and goes back to his room. He would even be when the body of the killer is discovered.
