There is only one promising LB that is almost ready in the youth set up, and that is Brandon Williams.
Going forward he is already better than Shaw and that is despite just turning 19 and being right footed.
Defensively though he is still a bit naive and he has to work on his temper which can be volatile. He got red carded yesterday.

He's the main Reason I mentioned one of the promising LBs, instead of hoping United should spend some Cash to get a LB.

He seems ready to be honest, and I hope he's gonna be involved in the Upcoming EFL Cup Match.

Expecting DG to catch PKs is like expecting Lingard to stop developing at 27yrs.

I like Brandon's all round play but I get worried at his positional discipline though.

Not a big problem. Not all outstanding keepers are good at penalties. And the odds are hugely against GKs in penalties.

Moreover, more goals are scored from open play than from penalties. So it’s wise to be prevent a lot of those going in.

They would have been introduced long before now if the first team was stable and doing fine. As it stands, we will be setting them up for failure if they don't have senior players to get their backs. People will come after them from all angles if one wrong pass or dispossess leads to goal.

At this point I hope they start our matches but I don't have any expectations
