Minister of Niger Delta (State), Mr Festus Keyamo, has promised to foot the medical bills of an APC supporter who was attacked in his (Keyamo)’s hometown, Igbere TV reports. Igbere TV had reported that the victim, Elvis Omoiri, was attacked in Effurun area of Delta State, while celebrating the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at the Election Tribunal. It was learnt that Omoiri was stabbed repeatedly following argument that ensued between him and his neighbour, Best Uduophori, over the ruling of the Tribunal which affirmed the election of President Buhari on Wednesday. The argument between the duo was said to have degenerated into violence when one Mr Uduophori, believed to be member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reportedly broke bottles to attack his victim. Igbere TV gathered that the victim is currently battling for his life at a hospital in the city over the injuries he sustained on his neck, head and other parts of his body. Reacting to the development in a tweet sighted by Igbere TV on Saturday, Mr Keyamo said he had taken up the case, while also assuring the victim of justice. “I have already taken up this matter. I sent one of my SA’s to the hospital & asked them to send me all the medical bills. I also spoke with the victim & assured him of justice. I then contacted the DCO of Ekpan Police Station to ensure the culprit is arrested and brought to book”, he wrote. https://twitter.com/fkeyamo/status/1172893002928414726?s=19 http://igberetvnews.com/980219/tribunal-man-attacked-for-celebrating-buharis-victory-minister-reacts/ 7 Likes 2 Shares

thesicilian:Okay, so those illiterates can't celebrate the victory of their preferred candidates again because pigs are in their environment? Or they are not free to have preferred candidates? What exactly are you trying to say? Or, okay, Buhari is "incompetent", yet they prefer him, is that a case? 67 Likes 6 Shares |

This is where the Free the sheeple implies.. If the young man had died they would have sent an SA to console with the family but the dead man is dead already.. But thank God he was only injured, Festus Keyamo will bear the medical expenses but the young man will for a long time bear the pains.. Now you ask, Who is at a loss.. Always remember Politicians are in that position primarily for their own interests.. You die or live them no send you.. When Buhari and Atiku see them go still smile and hug each other.. Youths use your head.. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Nigerians sef, yesterday some said the attacker must be Buhari's supporter because they are known for violence, today the same people are saying it serves the victim right for supporting the wrong candidate (Buhari). Politics has obviously taken away the human part of some beings. Someone tried to kill another person because of two people who would gladly sit and dine together even tonight, if they were served food in the same plate? Smh. 4 Likes |
