I don't think Osimhen and Abraham partnership is possible with the 4-4-2 formation. You include iwobi ( attacking midfielder to make the partnership effective) and the wing players, you are left with one more mid fielder (most likely defensive mid-fielder). Our Central Mid- Field would be practically non-existent. We would only be relying on quick counters for attacks in those games.

That Guinea Bissau was colonized by Portugal isn't enough to tie the lad to Portugal.

I don't know much about the kid's ancestral ties and how it relates to Portugal, so, I can't really tell.

I know quite a lot of guys from Guinea Bissau and yes they have literally a free ride to Portugal.

Looking at Tega Abrahams he is in a difficult dilemma, if he changes allegaiamce now he will be slated by the British for years to come.

He is already being slated by Nigerians either way he goes he gets HATE. As an England international hr makes a lot more money endorsements and advertising. That's the Financial front. As an youth England international the club gives you more preference loose that status and you loose your preference to the first team.

If he plays for England he will never be first choice.

If he comes to the SE he becomes immediately the new Yekini and it will probably draw a host if other Nigerian players here including Tomori.

What black players say in the public domain and what they say one on one to me are two completely different things. And or to other black people are two different things.

ON THE ISSUE OF FOREIGN-BORN NIGERIAN
Nigeria FA always wait for the player to boom before given a call up as the national team is for only those who are ready to deliver. The National team is not for try and error.

We have many Nigerian in various youth academy, just few of them fulfil their potentials even England does not just call up a player because the player has potential. The player must be seen to add value to the team or can add value to another national team, hence, the call-up either to improve their national team or stop the player from improving another national team.

Also, the foreign based players can't be blamed for choosing other national ahead of Nigeria. After reaching their potential, as they have better chance of being successful in those national team than Nigeria.

The Nigeria FA must also be very observant and persuasive when trying to lure those foreign born national to the national team. We need to be able to convince them that the future is bright for the national team.
