Tammy Abraham who has had his focus solidly on making the 3 lions squad and drew the carpet from underneath Amaju pre world cup. Tammy Abraham who has reiterated his stand to play for England severally. Tammy Abraham who is not even that awesome as a striker. Tammy Abraham all the time ...blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. 2 Likes |

I wonder why many blame the issue of Tammy on Pinnick. Pinnick had a heart to heart talk with the player and his family whivh ended positively and I see no issue on him letting the media know of the outcome of their meeting which is normal. People to be blamed re Tammy and his parents. If truly Tammy's father wants him to rep us he would have advised his son on grabbing the offer to play at the biggest stage in world football at such a young age, also making him understand that he will play and retire as a legend in the super eagles with Alex Iwobi and Moses as good example and reference points. I didn't and will never blame it on Pinnick. He did the needful even to an extend of traveling to the UK to have a talk personally with the lad and his minders. Tammy's parents didn't do much from my own perspective to advise Tammy on playing for us that's the bitter truth, also Tammy inside of him doesn't habour the ambition to ever play for Nigeria. komekn: U lie from both sides of ur mouth, and u are a bad liar bkus u rarely remember ur last lies when U wanna tell another one. Were u not the same person who said here, few months ago when we were discussing Ademola and Tomori, the these players choose to keep their allegiance to Nigeria covert until they must have sorted their club futures? Then, Ademola was still struggling to leave Everton and Tomori was scheduled to join Everton. That day we were discussing about NFF's positive moves to convince Ademola and Tomori. Today in ur quest for cheap glories and recognitions, the nff now lacks integrity and u are the one mediating and talking to the boys? What do u know about the moves being made or have been made so far by the NFF to get the guys, abi u dey expect Pinnick to repeat the same mistake he made on Tammy by bringing everything to the media, so that tomorrow u will be out here talking crap again that he opened his mouth so wide like a typical Warri man? I pity the small minds in here who take u seriously. Below is the headline of the news that led to the discussion - "Chelsea’s Fikayo Tomori open to the idea of following in the footsteps of Lookman in switching to Nigeria as Omeruo signs a four year deal with Leganes" 8 Likes 2 Shares |

I don't blame the Tammy debacle on Pinnick. To me he did the right thing but can't force the lad or his parents to accept the offer of playing for us. Pinnick is not that daft and stupid to announce to the media the positive talk he had with Tammy and his party if something tangible didn't come out from the meeting. The English with their conniving manner swooped in and infiltrated the mind of the boy which made him have a change of heart. Do you know when Eze was first invited to the English u20 team he turned the offer down and openly told the English FA that he wish to rep Nigeria in international football but with the help of the his clubs management he was persuaded to take the chance with the promise that it will boast his career and value going forward? It even surfaced online few minutes after he made the pronouncement but qpr management took it off immediately. ChrisKels: 1 Like |

Pinnick's administration go the extra mile to reach out to these kids unlike previous administrations who only make contact on phone to this kids through their management team and agents. Like i say always England and other European countries can't hv them all likewise 9ja. Some will play for us while the Europeans will swoop for those they can convince to rep them. |

Bros chill, Eze will play for us. This is his 2nd season in professional football so I believe he is among those to be drafted in soon. Even in the current English u21 team he isn't a starter and was a late call up after 2 midfielders withdrew from the team. He even didn't play any game for the team during the fifa break. Let's wait and see how things unfold but I am 100% sure that Eze will play for us. If Rohr invited him earlier na una go still agitate that he is being given preferential treatment after half a season in professional football because he is English born. Then names like Ajagun Babatunde and rabiu Ibrahim will spring out from nowhere with excuses that they re more experienced and have been in the scene for over half a decade. Even many will argue that players in the local league deserve more look in than unproven talent like Eze who is still cutting his teeth in professional football. andrew444: |
