Justanodadude: No need for the bolded.. The address can be changed, I think. So that should not be an issue. But have u been able to withdraw with the Lesotho address or you've not tried withdrawing b4? |

samsard: Don't tell me u want to leave QA totally because of the fear of competition from some guys that watched a YouTube video about QA... Wot happened to "we die here"? I'm beginning to think the lack of calls is because of the poorly submitted transcripts. I 'm starting to feel they are reluctant to always fill the queue with calls because of the rate at which poor transcripts are submitted (my own theory). |

Justanodadude: Well, If you're yet to receive cash, I'll advise you to open a new account. It won't take you 30 minutes after going through the PDF on page 1 Or 2, I guess. Do that and come back with other questions. But if you think it's not worth it, it's your choice. I edited my own address i.e my house address. I used 51 xyz street instead of 50 xyz street. So you see that the mistake is a minor one, right? So, imagine changing the whole address and when you want to withdraw someday and PP now flag your account and request for a Lesotho ID card or any document showing you're a citizen and not someone who hacked the account. Think about it. Your choice Sha |

Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by samsard(m): 4:03pm On Sep 15, 2019 |
thorrvik55:I doubt that. I think they recruited in-house transcribers because people were avoiding FC calls. Also, calls get uploaded on the very day or next they're recorded, if you have noticed they're almost always recent except when there's a call that gets passed over due to perceived difficulty. |
Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by thorrvik55(m): 4:15pm On Sep 15, 2019 |
samsard: I get that. But even as at a month ago, calls were always on queue. Even if the number of transcribers on the platform doubled or tripled, the calls would not have reduced the way it did. These days, the only time the queue is full is when calls are just uploaded. There is definitely something going on that we are not aware of. |
Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by kinzu(m): 4:37pm On Sep 15, 2019 |
thorrvik55: I agree. SCC already hinted the flooding of the platform with transcribers that turn in low quality work. I have noticed something. Every time we get that error 504 or 404 or something, after that, we get a major update. The queue reduced after the last major service outage. I think the top transcribers are seeing a different call queue. When they have their pick, the rest then gets passed down to the rest of the world. Just like newbies only get to see those 2-minute calls. They have no issues with the newcomers. They already have their problems solved if the weekly leaderboard is anything to go by. |

Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by nwafresh(m): 4:55pm On Sep 15, 2019 |
kinzu: There's sense in this. I've been seeing long calls on my dashboard since last week. I have no opinion that to pick them. There was a day I did 36 minutes call as well as 21 minutes. Same day. Whatever they want to do, they should ensure that they rate the calls instead of carrying them over to next week. I'm still having a 29 minute call since Sept 3rd. |
