Lol... abeg. I care. That brace by your boy Dessers makes it three goals in six games now in the Eredivisie. That's very decent indeed. Hopes he keeps it up. Your campaign for him will never be forgotten... "#Cyriel Dessers!!!!" You always screamed... lol Truidstar: 2 Likes |

charlesemeka85: Double standard and bigotry at work in the NFF. At what stage of Alex Iwobi career ws he invited to the SE. At what stage stage was Victory Osimhen invited to the SE the same goes for the Nwakali brothers. Sometimes players are invited to camp to have them checked out and give them a sense that they are valued. Classic example is Walcott and of course our own Dominic Iorfa. Invitation is not selection but it sets the pathway for a fruitful relationship and sense of belonging. The NFF failed woefully in this regard to create relationship. Finally, l can tell you that no SE player will divulge the ongoing in the SE in the public domain. They may tell me but not the media. I know without a shadow of doubt that with regards to Sone Aluko a particularl bull of a coach demanded he use his agent and take up options in Turkey then he will be recalled to the SE. There are several other situations but l will not go into that. You never know when virtual turns too reality don't want any legal ⚖ issues. |

Coming to the claim of previous coaches persuading players to sign with their agencies inorder to remain relevant in the national team was obvious and known to those who followed the team closely then without sentiment. This is one of the reasons why I hated the likes of keshi, siasia and co so much. I have made reference to that in the past but all I am trying to point out to u via my post earlier was that such practice is not welcomed anymore in the current super eagles set up unless the youth teams. Aluko's case was a pathetic one then and not only him so many suffered the same from both ends(home grown and European born) So far Rohr have been very open in terms of players invitation and he even go out to advise our players on moving to better and bigger leagues before they will be considered worthy enough for a chance in the team. Kelechi nwakali was also brought in to the train with the team few times based of his exploit at the U17 but he didn't show much and Rohr wasn't really sold out on him even when the pressure was much on him from the nff big wigs at the time. Rohr stood his ground on the case of Nwakali jnr. Till date he is yet to debut for the team but only play with a makeshift Nigerian team that faced atm in a preseason game. Nwakali Snr was doing well in the norwagian league then, he was invited but Rohr noticed he wasn't good enough and that was the end. If it was the time of our local coaches both brothers would have won over a dozen caps by now. komekn: 1 Like |

Alex Iwobi was initially brought in for the u23 team but his fast rise in arsenal made way for him straight to the super eagles in the space of few months. Oshimeh then was struggling in Germany but the reason for his early inclusion to the team was based on his exploit in the U17 and also as a kid who will learn from the likes of Ighalo and nacho who was doing well then both for Club and country. Oshimeh's invite to the national team wasn't always but was called up atimes to train with the team. Today we are benefiting from that idea of blooding him in early. komekn: 1 Like |

Francis Uzoho in action: AEK Larnaca 2-2 Omonia Nicosia Uzoho with a penalty save and some fine stops. Twice beaten from the penalty spot too. Also, the live action pic of Uzoho taken that I dropped earlier was his reaction immediately after the penalty save.
