Hello bro, please what materials did you study with?

I used Barrons 333 and 800 for vocab and Manhattan book on RC and several youtube videos especially by Gregmat for RC.
For quant I used all 6 Manhattan series and solved a lot of tough quant questions. Quant was pretty easy, I am sure I fell into some ETS traps that was I scored 158 in quant.

Where are you having more problem; RC?, TC?, SC?.
TC & SC - I did somewhere between terrible and OK on these sections because I just didn't see the point in ramming my head with too many obscure words.
RC- It's probably easier to sweep scores from here as the answers are more obtainable, and the passage is all you need.
I think Magoosh videos help as people have testified. I used the Kaplan online GRE portal (Comes when you buy the Amazon Kindle book [I got it as a gift though ]); their comprehension strategy was sufficient for me.

I intended to apply for the Spring 2020 admission. Needless to say, I used only one week to fully prepare for the test due to the nature of my job, although I have always been checking GRE vocabulary words on Magoosh flashcards during leisure time. I never knew my verbal and AWA skills were poor, perhaps because I did not have ample time to take the practice tests.
My questions:
Which ebook is the best for verbal and AWA? How can I improve these scores?
Which material can I use to study Data Interpretation as I was unable to solve some questions in that section on the test day?

I didn't really study for the verbal, so I don't know the best materials for it. Understanding the sentences is much more important than cramming words. I didn't waste my time on any flashcard.

I think ETS guide and Princeton Review are very good for the analytical writing. During your practice, try to type at least 600 words per essay, follow the instruction of the essay, and use relevant real-world examples.

For data interpretation, ETS powerprep plus is highly recommended. You'll find new sets of data interpretation questions there.

E.g, if you studied political science in Undergrad, and you're going for a masters in public policy. A sample response would talk about your senior level courses in International diplomacy, and foreign interventions, and how these courses led you to your final year project of an expiation of foreign aid as a diplomatic tool in Nigeria. Then close out by saying that you're confident that all these background makes you a strong candidate for the department.

I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree [equivalent to the US Doctor of Dental Surgery] soon, I hope to write the GRE in the first quarter of next year and start applications for Master of Public Health (MPH) programs in the US.

I will like to ask the following questions-
1) Do US schools provide funding for MPH programs? If not, what countries would you advise I apply to?
2) Will a good GRE give me a higher chance of getting a scholarship?

Funding levels depends on whether it is MSc or PhD. The monthly stipend ranges from 1000 to 2,500 with most PhD funding between 1700 and 2200 per month.
The biggest expense in the US is rent, so the best way to reduce expenses is by having a roommate. Therefore if a single student can keep rent below 500 per month, the other monthly expenditures should be less than $500, giving a total less than $1000. Although rent varies based on States and is most expensive in California and the North East (New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts).

Most PhD students end up saving. A fully funded single PhD student has no business taking illegal work to make ends meet, or else it is a case of greed.

You will however need to come with about $1500 to settle down before your stipend kicks in.

Please ensure you get adequate rest before the test, and get there on time. Your state of mind on the test day is very important to your success. You could take a snack to the test venue to eat during the break time, because the exam can be energy sapping.
