Dear @Seun,

How many likes and shares would be enough to

1. Hear from you about the decline of our beloved forum

2. Where pornographic posts grace the front page with no sanctions and tribal bigots run the pages

3. Where even after reporting explicit sexual narratives, they continue

4. Mods push topics that go against even the rules

4. Are you still alive, in charge, the owner or no more.

What will make your voice heard again? Pls. Let us know. . Pls repost till Seun takes Action. This post is not for likes or shares polling. It's for an answer from Seun

Modified:

Thanks guys for pushing this message forward. Hopefully @seun responds, comments and answers our questions

Not just porn materials..

Fake website building scams

Bet9ja scam too. I created a thread and the mods closed it quickly and deleted it.

Watch them delete this too

Honestly nairaland has turned to something else, not the nairaland I used to know back then.

Please post links to the home page threads that should not have made the home page. I will personally investigate them and figure out what needs to change.

I’m waiting for the links, please.

Seun, Nairaland needs a face-lift. Bring in features to block certain people from quoting or following you (to fight against massive trolling in the Politics Section) and hashtag and @ to make it easier to track trending topics and mention people.

You have not been keeping an eye on this forum.
It's not necessarily you personally keep an eye,but you can employ a full time super administrator, that will more or less serve as a defacto C.E.O.
Asides some lousy topics being pushed to the fp,the kind of grammar one reads in some headlines is so embarassing you wonder if the admin that allows it or edits the topics passed through a proper secondary school, not to talk of university.

Yes, the headings are always so grammatically incorrect. Sometimes the mods edit the headings a thread comes with and end up giving us something that doesn't make sense.

Hi Seun,

Nairaland has become a tool for tribal war-mongering by some of your mods from certain parts of the country.

You need to replace your mods and employ a Content/Ethics Director to monitor their activities.

Also the fake/unverified news from so-called "bloggers" who coalesce with mods for cheap-traffic has to stop.

Apart from entertainment, only verified news from reputable sources should make front page.

Regards.

Also let seun do something about always pushing everything that has to do with SNAKE to front page. The easiest way this days to get to front page is to write rubbish and attach pix of a snake and watch it grace the front page.

Seun has asked for links to inappropriate or tribalistic topics that made fp and no one has provided him with that. For me I do my best to report all porn and betting posts and also tribal laced posts. It’s left for the mods to do their jobs.

Nairaland is now a low budget instablog and tundeednut. Seriously, this forum needs an uplift cos this is the lowest I have seen since I joined about 10 years ago. I miss the old Nairaland! Smh

your headline is misleading. it's pure clickbait. by your logic, your post should be deleted too.Seun has asked for links to those 'awful' posts, you have not supplied any yet. this is a forum that supports freedom of speech.
if you're not comfy w/ porn, by all means avoid such posts. avoid the sexuality section. find what interests you. that's what forums are for. ty
and please give us those links

Still waiting for links to the threads that people are complaining about. In my experience, it's better to deal with specifics.

That's most Nigerians for you.

They complain about an issue, you ask them to provide facts and evidence so you can tackle the issue from the roots..... they take off!

....only to come back the next day to start the same complaints again.

That being said, I will appreciate if tribal warlords can be punished severely.

This site has been turned to the playing ground for bloggers who specializes in cooking up fake news and the mods pushes it to the FP without verifying.

The family section one wonders if a mod is still in charge there, just visit there you will only find four or three meaningful thread that truly belong there the rest is full of useless advertising. The family section has been turned to a market place
