kopey:Do you know anything about the way banks operate? If the man is polygamous, it is NOT the bank's business. All they need is the letter of administration issued by the probate registry. All the names of the administrators are listed there. Any name that is not included, does not concern the bank. If the family likes, let them have 100 other children that were borne by the deceased. E no concern di bank, o! They will only deal with those whose names are listed in the letter of administration. End of story..... 2 Likes 1 Share |

Pinkybush:Almost too late. Something you should have added when it was still hot. Do you know how many top officials visit here? Add it to the topic gangan or just open another thread more like an update and if it graces front page again make sure the bank is there. And see the way it’s paining me ehn. Since you’ve said the bank. Twitter is next. When you’re ready for that just mentions me. I’ll give you list of top influencers you’ll mention and some other banks you’ll tag. Those banks will cause small damage for them too |

1johnjohn: OK, I heard they charge a percentage (12% or so), not a fixed amount. Do you need other siblings of your father to accent to the Letter of Administration or just the next-of-kin (which I'm)? |

OlaSammie: This is the best way to get quickest response. put it on twitter. copy the bank, CBN, NIBBS and other popular people. DO NOT ACCEPT ANY LAWYER (simply because they will claim percentage on the money). Apparently, the branch MD having being notified that the your parent is late might want to invest the money in short term investment(like TBILLS) to make profit before remiting same into the estate account. |

Pinkybush: For the sensitivity you will not name the bank? Then you are not ready to get that money. Haven't you realized in Nigeria except some banks and some service providing companies are called out openly and on social media, they don't act and do their job fast? Okay be doing sensitivity there. When you are tired of their Bleep up, you by yourself with your wide mouth will call them out. 1 Like |

CeterisXVII: You are absolutely correct but law isn't technical. Once there is an objection against a valid LA, the Bank may be reluctant to release the money. The reason is that it is better to hold the money while the family sort their differences rather than release the money and be directed by Court to pay to another party. Mind you, once there is a protest letter against a Letter of Admin, it's safer to thread with caution as they may likely end up in court |
