McTobe You said it all. Before now, I can read a post from page 0 to 100. It usually take me eternity to scan all the topics on front page from top to bottom. But today, I will just scroll up in one touch and leave. Nothing again interests me here. If I open a thread, I will just read the news and go back. I don't dear read comments because its all fights and insults!!! 11 Likes 1 Share |

A lot has been said here. I hardly click on any topic on the Front page these days. Except for some threads i'm actually active in. But that front page, it's just a Scroll. Ps: The worst thing on this forum these days is that those bet 9ja scammers, Mtn scammers, and the porn too are even making FTC, may be the Mods have been bribed tho' 4 Likes |

Nairaland was a good place to rub minds with great minds. Now there are too many trolls, scammers, pornography and tribalists. It’s so sad that it’s now so difficult to have a meaningful intelligent conversation without getting derailed by those who don’t understand the essence of good thoughts. 7 Likes |

I dont expect nairaland of the early yesteryear, to be same as today... We live in a constantly evolving world, and trends sets the pace not the other way round... Nairaland has so many sections and so many posts are been entered into those sections on a daily basis..so, Either posts from any of such sections, could make front page.. Including sexualty section...that said,.. The front page, is the poster image of this forum and as such all posts considered to be front page worthy, must be vetted to ensure that it agrees with the rules of this forum.. , not all traffic generating posts are front page worthy 4 Likes 1 Share |

WalkerMichael: We're not even done yet and thus is yet another one that has just been forced down our throat on FP this morning - https://www.nairaland.com/5422119/co-workers-excited-sir-dee-visits https://www.nairaland.com/5423127/hushpuppi-poses-linda-ikejis-dad I don't think any of these are stopping anytime soon. That gistmore blog too - I suspect they pay the mods. Seun, I think you need a total overhaul of these lazy mods. Seun, do something!!! It's not until everyone leaves NL 6 Likes

What you listed here are serious issues but I will urge you to take a little time and use the report button on all posts that insult you or anyone, all posts that use the afonja and IPOB words. That’s what I do. I don’t respond or quote them cos that will be enabling them the more and giving them a voice, I quietly use the report button. There is a report button for insults and bullying. Together we can take back this forum Ikinternational: 4 Likes 1 Share |

Seun:Here are some of the useless topics that have made fp in a while. NL idiosyncrasies for BBNaija stories is really annoying? Sorry, I don't want to sound somehow but I hate that show with passion. It’s all appalling brother, certain level of moderation and comments will attract noble minded fellows while insults and petty talks will surely attract petty minds. Let’s see what Seun will do now that people are talking iHart: 1 Like |

Seun: No one is expected to note/keep links of posts on Nairaland. Everyone came to read and comment. Asking for links from reporters before treating the issues is like asking for the number on my 'lost and found' N20 note before you can return to me. Thousands of people have experienced this issue. It's undeniable. I have also experienced it and here is the link to a post which I accessed by August 14, 2019. https://www.nairaland.com/5358997/president-buhari-dead-today . It says "Buhari is Dead" and I reported it. I checked back many hours later and it was still there.. until it was removed. Opening the link shows a completely naked black woman whose legs are widely spread displaying a massive vulva. This is just an example and we know there are so many others. Please post links to the home page threads that should not have made the home page. I will personally investigate them and figure out what needs to change.I cannot question how your organization (mods activities and internal policies) carry out decisions to push news to the front page. However, if you want to investigate, It has to start from them. Managing millions of posts and comments daily can be tedious for your mods. I am aware of bots deployed to each of the sections. You might have to improve them too to be able to identify porn and contents that violates your set rules. #AI #ML are helpful tools. Lastly, the reports of people should be treated urgently once multiple people are reporting the same content. You should have triggers for that. Cheers and Kudos for always listening. My regards to your family. 6 Likes |

It seems some think anything they don't approve of should not be posted on Nairaland. I myself, for all I'm worth, personally disagree and hold the right of freedom of expression.
