Why do you say what you dont know. Romanians are poor right and their minimum wage is abit over 400 euro a month, Can you compare that to any african country or your country nigeria. A friend of mine just became citizen last month having stay here for 6years. He is now an european citizen, Can you beat that. Also as an IT person or other fields earn 1000 euro upwards. should i continue. My friend works as data entry analyst in bucharest and he earn 800 euro a month. Pls don't always believe all you read on news. come here and see. For me romania is far better than russia, ukraine, bulgaria or any other places nigerians goes to study. Romania women are the most friendliest being have ever seen in my entire life. Am not marketing the country, just telling you as it is. I am here to help and share my experience so far not for any sinister motives. I will rather live in romania and be at peace than live in the uk or germany Happy weekend Feyang: 2 Likes |

I like this statement you made now. you will still give it a try than turkey. sometimes when i hear students going to ukraine, albania, kosovo or russia to study, i marvel. what do you mean how much you charge. I think my help is not needed here. why are nigerians like this SaintHilary: 2 Likes |

Please guys , please I beg you in the name of God. If anyone comes online to tell you about any country. Saying you will get job after study, Job is easy to get, the cost of living is low etc. Abeg make enough research yourself, for you not to regret after getting there. And once you are stranded. You won't have any choice but to do bad things. A bone with peace of mind is better than a big meat with problem. So make research yourself before you embark on any trip The truth is Nigerian are selfish and greedy . They will not tell you the real truth, all because they want you pay there own processing money I want to help you, at end helping it will be at range of 150k - 1m Please make enough research yourself God bless you all 7 Likes |

Olami112: Wise words, apart from that eeeeeh.... Some people will be very desperate now to relocate there though everyone with their own destiny's but from my observation romania is very poor, I do have a cousin brother that traveled there back in the year 2000 with student visa. He regretted that move because parents and relative sending money to him, but thankGod for him with the help of relative he got married to a citizen of united kingdom, before relocating to UK, now a resident of UK....his bitter experience during is stay in romania is full of pains. if you are going there just for schooling not for work, you are in the right track. I am not here to decisive anyone, I second olam112, make your research! 2 Likes 1 Share |

Brother. fine i accept your analysis. but how can you compare romania of 2000 to now. and also remember they werent memeber of the european union yet. Things have change drastically. I think you should come and see by yourself The worst of romania is far better than the best of nigeria. Is it not yesterday police dare slap Id cabasa. do you think that can happen abraod in a civilised country. In hungary, i saw a black guy beat up a white guy and nothing happened. Pls dont compare nigeria with the poorest country in europe as you call them chibros02: 4 Likes |

If you have enough money to take care of yourself, make research and plan towards it And once you see that you will not be stranded Go , take the bold step. But don't let anyone decieve you that With just 500k you can survive, that's a lie . House cost $400 monthly Feeding $300 Transportation cost $200 You will surely pay school fees Plan ticket And due to your language barrier You can only get cleaning and small job that can only pay you little Check out the updated living cost https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/country_result.jsp?country=Romania&displayCurrency=USD I laughed when people comes out to say I just want to help on Nairaland and they end up telling you to pay this and that for application process . With you will end up pay up to a million. What a help. Make your research before you leave Nigeria that's all May God help us all 4 Likes |

One of my childhood friends studied in Romania (Constanta) and returned last year after his studies. He always talked about Romania being a poor, but very peaceful country. One of the advantages was that, he enters the USA at ease whenever they are on break.... The USA embassy in Romania hardly denies visa once you can speak English( they are always happy to see people that can communicate with them)....You’ll be given a 4-month duration visa to work in the USA during holidays in Romania( but not for those that have many carry overs to settle).... 7 Likes |

The main reason i open this thread is because i have been living here for a while now and anywhere i turn to, all i see are cameroonians. Hadly will i find a nigerian although they are but very few. And to even make matter worst, the cameroonians have to travel from their country down to abuja to apply for the visa while we that has their embassy in our country ignores it. I want us to come in large number and explore this country. 6 Likes |
