Dennerby has issues with the NFF. Danjuma will probably act till they are resolved.
I see, then he shouldn't be taking such sensitive decisions since Denerby is suppose to come back

Firmino on his good day is the best false9 in the world!!if Tite decides to use him as a false9 against us then it would be foolish to assign players to mark him ...

I’m sure you’re not aware Messi played as a false 9 under pep

Do u have a personal grudge against Imama?
U keep attacking him as if he committed murder! He didn't ask to be appointed as the assistant coach or u-23 coach. He was behind Salisu in the coaching crew before Salisu was caught collecting bribe!!
Show the man some respect please!
I don't even know what u are angry with him for! Because he lost away from home to Sudan or because he didn't call up foreign based players for the game? Either way, he has achieved one of the targets the NFF set for him...

not at all bro...I am not attacking him.
just the dude cluelessness baffles me.

he should give all the matches he handles his best at all times...
call up best legs, put same effort you put away at home....

he is still embellished in the NPFL mindset of loosing away and winning home matches... he needs to brace up see every match as a must win either home or away...

he has been with rohr for sometime now...enough time for him to understand that when playing important matches like WCQ away wins and draws matters a lot...

I am not happy with his coaching skills at all...it seems he has learnt nothing all this while and it's like he contribute nothing to rohr's list and achievements so far....

I will fully give up on him...should he loose the next away match he handles....

someone like him by now should be tipped to take over from Rohr

if we can't get an Africa team for the super eagles after the Brazil match...please let's play the Singapore national team or any of their club sides....

it is not a must we play an Africa team before we can beat Lesotho and Malawi...
even a good Chan team can beat this 2 nations....

I don't think NFF people wants Dennerby back. It is the Minister that is trying to bring him back.

They can manipulate a local coach easier.

I remember before the world cup, we played against Argentina and we gave them a great game in the 2nd half of the game, everyone was singing Rohr's praises, well, that didn't stop him from dishing us rubbish in the friendly games that followed and even the competition itself.

Today, it's the first half of the Ukraine game we're using as a reference point, there isn't much for me to applaud until I see the team replicate such performances in competitions.

He has meet the first target set for him!!
What's there for him to learn from Rohr? Rohr that is found of drawing games he could have won??

When the u-23 AFCON starts,we won't have those foreign based players available... so it wasn't totally wrong for him to call up local players!!!

Is he still playing under Pep as a false 9?

I'm making reference to the present not the past...
and in this era, there's no better false 9 anywhere than Firmino!! His work rate on the pitch is insane!!

if it wasn't for the anyhowness of our NFF i would be lying if i said i'm not kinda relieved dennerby is gone. apart from results (which our past local coaches replicated) the performances truth be told have been dour. i can take delayed gratification eg winning trophies qualifying for world cup etc if i can see clear steady improvement.

ideally Omagbemi or any female coach should be engaged and sent on adequate coaching courses to brush up their skills

it's right to demand the best of performances from our national team but learn to manage your expectations. getting depressed because we didn't beat teams better ranked than us or have better quality players than us playing in the best leagues is abit over the top.

Osimhen should take last night's result as a learning curve. His hold up play might still need work but his pace (boy is faster than i thought), aggressive and good running of the channels are impressive. if i were victor i would buy dvds of etoo and aubamayeng guys who are not heavy on hold up play but have sharp movement and shoot at the first sign of asking

Which below average players have been dealing with Firmino?
The guy isn't an out and out striker but a false 9 ..He does more than to score goals and provide assist...He is one of the reason Salah and Mane are getting free goals all the time ...

Bros there are so many below average players in the epl who has played against firminho and did well so what are you trying to say?

And mind you i didnt call firminho a bad player before you go come for my head, wetin consign wetin i talk and salah and mane

somehow:
after how many years?

He came to barca to win trophies and now he is off to play first team football , he was ajax first choice before joining barcelona, now neto and him was exchanged, neto has joined barca to win trophies also as he will never be a started, neto is not a fool to join barca, as he just need some silverware

Jasper cillessen is a very good GK that will start in many big clubs in the world , better than so many GK in big teams, being the netherland first team GK for the past 5 years is no joke

You'd definitely resort to name calling since you lack the intellectual capacity to interpret what one's trying to say without trying to insert yourself as the gatekeeper of sensible assertions.

Flojo!!!

Teams Ranking higher than you have bad days in office, and when you're lucky to meet them on such occasions, you make the most of it.

It seems the matter has been resolved by the Sports minister, Mr Sunday Dare. Dennerby is expected to return back to Nigeria this weekend. This minister dey work sha pass Dalung.

This NFF corruption case is serious than I thought oo. And Pinnick kept claiming that he and his officials were innocent. Now wey breeze don blow, na fowl nyash we dey see. This is really a distraction to our football. I just pray we don't receive FIFA hammer for government interference. Let Pinnick and his men just cooperate and forfeit the undue wealth they have acquired silently.
