Just read the French FA will be cancelling their own League Cup. Which means less games for their top teams competing in Europe plus they even get winter breaks.

But it's only England that still employs a league cup competition in all the top countries in Europe. I dont know when the useless FA will have sense and realise the competition doesn't help anyone.
They keep expecting clubs and players to play some 60/70+ games every season without even a weeks break all through.

Why can't all the clubs play yoots... There's no crime against it.

In all of Europe, it's the English leagues that start the season first. And as a result, pre-season starts earlier for English teams. It's still the same English leagues that dont have any winter breaks. It's still the same English leagues that will end last after everyone else.

English teams play so many games every year that it's almost impossible for the top teams to win sextuple like Barca or 3 peat UCL like Madrid because games have to be prioritised due to the amount of matches to be played, fatigue and injuries.

The average top team in England who wants to compete on all fronts will have to play about 67 games if they are to win the FA Cup, EFL, UCL/Europa plus league games. And i've not even added Community Shield, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup replays and the FIFA Club World Cup.
I never even factor in International Breaks.

THe English FA needs to do better.

How many yoots u wan dey play for 70+ games? Even yoots need rest.
If other clubs from other leagues can get winter breaks and reduced number of games, i dont see why English teams shouldn't enjoy such privileges too.

I'm talking about Carabao cup and so on.. I agree English fa need to do better, but I don't think it has been a major factor.. City with first and second eleven no reach semi final

For me, i believe it's a major factor. How can it not be?

KDB is probably City's best player. They dont struggle to score without him but no one else in the team can do what he does.
Liverpool with only one CS since Allison's injury. Let Fabinho or VVD break leg and it's over for their defence.
See how injuries played a part in derailing our season under OGS last season.

Or u thnink an English team can win sextuple playing almost 70 matches a season? Let's not forget that the yoot u mentioned earlier also have their reserve games and youth leagues to play.

People are now seeing the light.

It's not always about signing all the superstars. it takes much more than that. Man utd have been there few years ago, it didn't work out, so i can't really blame the club management that changed their transfer policy this time around.
