ON the issue of Rice.......its really an emotional matter every Nigerian eats rice every day and the big wigs all want in on the action but the crux of the matter is that neigbouring countries charge little or tax for rice importation but marginal tax for exportation through the land borders and the bulk of this gets dumped in Nigeria.......Most of Buhari policy is seriously hurting their economy hence recent frienship visits we have been seeing recently

I pray the issue of rice does not go the way of frozen chicken as no major corporation has found a way to produce it cheaply hence importation

ON a side note a coy like OLAM has to be forced to list.....Dat coy is minting money from Nigerias daily needs

On the part in bold, I TOTALLY CONCUR !!

Another coy I also think should be encouraged to list is DUFIL PRIMA(part of the tolaram group).
...TG ARIA(makers of Dano milk) are also a part of the said group(tolaram)

If possible, get the group(tolaram) to list its African subset on the exchange.
That coy(the group), for me are currently the biggest gainers of the lower price points from the present stiff competition, due mainly to low purchasing power from inflationary pressures and economic policy mismatches.
For them, it looks like margin contraction is no problem at all !!

Sir OGG,

Removing the free money from their Q2 reveals something is not still right with FO. What do you think?

I do NOT think so !!
...there are lots to say, but I have since given my verdict on FO.

The choice is now left for anyone to make !!

...that's the point !!
For instance, FIDELITY has actually done a good push up, from about N1.40 to N1.87(the other day) ...an approx 30% ROI in a few weeks.
Potential for more rise is still huge though.

But then again, i'll prefer to attach a little more portfolio weighting to FCMB than FIDELITY.

It is well.

This is where some miss it and make brokers very rich.... grin
There was a year I generated so much commissions for my brokers that when all the dust was settled, I realised I should have just stayed in a single stock and asked them to send me their account number for a 10% of my total holding's end of year gift, without going through all the stress and emotional trauma I brought upon myself.... grin
