Why Court Revoked Nnamdi Kanu’s Bail, Ordered Arrest

A Federal High Court in Abuja has revoked the bail it earlier granted Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB).

The Judge, Binta Nyako, while revoking the bail on Thursday ordered a bench warrant be issued on Mr Kanu.



The separatist leader who is being tried for treason has not been attending his trial since April 2017 when he was granted bail. The Nigerian Military had invaded his residence in Abia State and his whereabouts became unknown until late last year when he resurfaced in Isreal criticising the federal government.



The court said it took the action because Kanu has repeatedly failed to attend his trial since after he was granted bail.

The army sought to arrest Kanu because of the risk to national security his activities and that of his proscribed IPOB group posed to Nigeria.

Nigeria reports seized Iranian arms shipment to UN

Nigeria has reported its seizure of a shipment of arms from Iran to the United Nations Security Council.

The Nigerian authorities discovered the weapons, including rocket launchers and grenades, last month in containers labelled as building materials.

They had said they would report the seizure if it was shown that UN sanctions had been broken.

Iran said the weapons were the subject of a "misunderstanding", which had been cleared up.

When was Nnamdi Kanu's house attacked? and when was the above pronouncement by court made?.
That's why more than half of Nigerians are educated illiterates, if your granted bail on a particular issue your under protection of that court on that issue except the court said order wise, which as at that date of attack the court haven't said so.
