Hazard thrives when he sees most of the ball and when he has the freedom to roam, yesterday he seldom saw the ball and was stationed on the left wing. The play should go through Hazard more if Madrid want to see the best of him...Benzema was missing too, I didn't see the Benzema that drops deep to help in the build up play.

Most of those Madrid players have won it all and don't have the desire to give it another go. Benzema looked nonexistent yesterday, Bale tried in the first half but their general play was disjointed with individual mistakes everywhere.
From the game yesterday, Hazard was stationed on the LW, he made no attempt to roam around, to get the ball and make things happen, I don't know if it's Zidane or if he isn't 100% fit but Hazard can do better.

What evidence at the level of CL do you have that Hazard can do better? This guy has 6yrs of CL to point to, tell us 3 games in those seasons of CL we can look at as evidence that he can do better?

If you get to a new job and you are asking your manager to give you more responsibility but you cannot point to 3 instances in your past 6yrs at your previous company where you have delivered at that level, Will you as a manager just give such high stakes responsibility to someone who has never displayed he can handle it at that level
