You're the real don of this IELTS writing. My sister is also on this journey and she scaled her IELTS on the 5th try, thanks to you. Keep up the work bro.
Thanks bro. I really wish I know who exactly your sister is, though.

It's time for my testimony, not PPR though,

Dec last year I got fed up with my job, the country, economy, Buhari and all. I've been following this thread but just didn't take it serious until December last year I just got fed up and like the lepers in the Bible, I asked myself "why seat here and do nothing"?

Late december last year I paid for international passport, express request, got my passport 28th December. Began preparing for IELTS. Always thought it was just an English exam, infact an uncle in the US sponsored my first IELTS with BC in January this year. When the result came out I was dumb, ordinary English? L7.5, R7.5, S7.5, W6
I quickly requested for EOR and W was upgraded to 7.

Emboldened by this I felt I should just pay on attention on listening. I quickly enrolled with Idp in March, result came out L8, S8, R7.5, W6.5
This writing again!
As usual, requested for EOR, followed up with the Aussies, for where? 47k Waka like that o. I knew I needed help. My wedding was by the corner.

After my wedding I reached out to Johnnybravo1990, he was not available then but he introduced me to Blissnenye, hmmmmmmm, Blissnenye? Wonderful woman, I wish to meet her someday. Very soft spoken. It was like she was begging me to learn how to write. She was so calm, gentle and was an encourager. I worked with her for two weeks.

After the two weeks & a while, Johnnybravo1990 reached out to me to know if I had written and if I studied with Blissnenye, I said yes, I worked with her but yet to write and still available for review with him. We scheduled for another two weeks. Johnny na strongman o! Lol, 8pm is 8pm you must keep to time with him. I work in a bank and due to tight schedule, i missed somedays of review with him and some days failed to submit a write up. Bros, I still use -em dash- three times in my task 2 o!

The most interesting thing is, I can't even remember practicing writing task 1 with them, always task 2.

I enrolled for the exam the third time with Idp for the 7th of September. I was too scared to tell anyone, including my wife, you know women na, before I will miss writing again and she will tell me PhD holder that is failing simple English exam. Few days to the exam day I began telling her that an Executive Director of my bank was coming to town to have a town hall meeting with staff that I will be away for most of the Saturday. Imagine, IELTS, the humbler of men. That was how I got permission to leave house on that day. Thanks to Blissnenye who called me and encouraged me to enroll for the test so as not to forget what I've learnt, an encourager indeed. Few days to the exam she say was still sending me tips on listening when I conveyed my fear to her that I'm scared of listening because I'm getting 33-34 in my reviews.

On the exam day, was supposed to start with listening, something went wrong, we had to begin with reading. After reading we went back to listening. First question and answer in listening, problem started o, the answer was HARBOUR, but I didn't know which of the HABOR to write. Fifth Answer was SWIMMING, that was when I knew my village people were at work, I began second guessing, how many M does swimming have? I left those two and continued until we were given time to transfer our answers, I closed my eyes and wrote HARBOUR & SWIMMING. After the exam I ran back to Johnny and Bliss to ask them which spelling should be appropriate, American English or British English?

When I was writing, for the first time in last two attempts, I began with task 2. It's was an argue both sides and choose one. I remembered all my training in the hands of my instructors! My two body paragraphs had two points each and two examples each coupled with lots of sports terminologies like fitness coach, sport enthusiastic, loss of fitness, sport idol, footballers like Ronaldo, skills, offside, sudden heart attack, aerobics etc, took three pages. Had time to read through task 2 before starting task 1, exactly five paragraphs as I remembered Johnnybravo1990 advice on task 1.

Speaking test? Tension sotay I went to the venue forgetting my international passport. After so much plea, I was scheduled for another day. On the scheduled day, the examiner initially refused to attend to me, madam was even heading home. After so much plea, she returned to test me. Talk about a time you had to wake up early in the morning in the past! With this question, clearly Jay's PPF method will not work. I don't now how God alone helped me to talk here. In the third part which was questions and answers she asked why the Nigerian government cannot harness the sunlight in the north to produce electricity for the whole question. That was the only only place I know I spoke Grammer with just one word- Politicians in Nigeria are OBTUSE to issues that can alleviate the suffering of the common man. I stated further "our politicians are ANNOYINGLY INSENSITIVE to anything that will improve the lot of the downtrodden in the country.

Fellas, that how it all went o. Infact, it was Blissnenye who chatted me up this morning to check my result, the tension was too much I just couldn't do it, had to give her my details, next thing she called to share the good news! She was my teacher, encourager and bringer of good news
L8.5
S8
W7.5
R7.5

I have still not told me wife! Lol

God has indeed been merciful. I did my ECA with ICES, only for them to tell me they are unable to verify my result from uniport after 10weeks, I bombarded them to refund my money so I can go through WES, God being so kind, they wrote back and inform me that they will go out of their way to verify my result through another Nigerian institution because I hold a doctorate degree. I sent them a mail praying for them and blessing them. Then my village people struck again. When the ECA came, it was PhD in Environmental science rather than PhD in Economics! Its like I praised them too much. Wrote back to them to notify them of the error they apologized and promised to send a correct cc which they eventually did.

I thank God for the journey so far. I can't thank Blissnenye & Johnnybravo1990 enough. Obviously the combo from these two IELTS Technocrats worked out well for me.
Oya, lemme go and tell my wifey so that something will come out this night na, TGIF!

Wow! What a testimony!! It is indeed a pleasure being part of your success story! Was a well deserved success!! Lol, that part about how you got permission to go "for a townhall meeting with the Executive Director" cracked me up. Thanks for sharing and thank you for that token of appreciation this morning.
BTW tonight is gonna be a good good night!! grin

Good afternoon elders in the house, please I need help with Schedule A form. I got a mail today informing me of the need to fill the form. I have filled all the details as requested but the challenge I am having is validating the form for final submission.

I have identified the area of concern. There is an overlap between my education and work experience when filling the personal history section. I was working and schooling at the same time during my Masters degree. My Masters program is completed now but the overlap is not allowing the Schedule A form to submit as it keeps taking me back to where there are no gaps as "incomplete".

Please how do I solve this? Can I just fill the form and submit without validating? SOS please

Please help look at my work experience that I intend to claim points for and tell if there’s an issue;
NYSC
November 2016 - Camp
1st PPA - January 2017 - April 17 2017
2nd PPA - April 24 2017 - October 27 2017
Full employment - January 2018 - December 18 2018
Changed department - December 19 2018 - September 2019

I also understand that it is better to state the FG allawee for NYSC. Should the employer state it together? For instance, I was paid 15k at my PPA. Should my employer state 24,800 monthly as my salary?

*P.S : All those experiences have different NOCs

Download the most recent version because the most recent one doesn't have to be validated but you can fill it by hand, scan and then upload to IRCC

Good everyone.

Please ooo, I'm trying to pay for application fees and biometrics but there's no place to even select what you want to pay for immediately. We want to pay for RPRF in about 2wks but this one has to go first because my 60days expires on Sunday.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Had to read this again...I'm not understanding :/ Whatever the case, you need at least one full year experience in one NOC to qualify for Express entry.

As for payment. I was also paid by my employer and the government. So it was stated that way in my reference. School paid me 14k in cash while government paid 19,800 allowee. I attached account statement for government allowee.

I meant what I said. Some of my friends initially put a lot of fear in me concerning writing. I later discovered that they dint prepare well that’s why they have been failing. I assisted them in the preparation and we ended passing writing and others together.
All am trying to say is that if you prepare well and with the right assistance, it won’t be a big deal.
