Been following this thread since page 1, and must admit refusing to comment has been one of the hardest decisions, especially in the midst of all the theories and controversial posts.

I have to give kudos to everyone here, no matter what happens, you have all made this a fun, educational period in the lives of many who have been impacted by this thread.

I am not sounding pessimistic or negative when I say that game of thrones doesn't come close to the intrigues in every government recruitment in this country. It's all one big freaking game.

I didn’t want to comment on this again and after this I won’t comment about this again, this trend is for NNPC maters only but It seems my intent of sending my friend off to Ubunja to be educated has been misunderstood. I don’t support #fuckboyrism.

You fail to see the complete picture. The message the likes of Ubunja are trying to pass across are the ideals of any self-respecting man when interacting with ladies. To be confident and pragmatic but these ideals are like a cutlass, you can choose to use it to farm or you can use it in battle. It doesn’t make the cutlass bad, it all depends on the user.

I just came across Ubunja a month or two ago (if i go through my comments i can pinpoint the exact day). Before i took notice of Ubunja i have known these things how?

I regularly peruse Quora, about two years ago. There was a question: mention books that changed your life. One Chinese guy answered and mentioned about 7 books. Tools of the titans, richest man in babylon..... they were all either about finance, self-Improvement, life knowledge or something along that line. The last book he suggested was “The rational Male - Rollo Tomassi”. You would find some of Ubunja’s theories in this book.

It is a much needed mind-set, you still find guys asking “I caught my girlfriend in bed with another guy should i dump her?”, putting girlfriends on a pedestal, worshipping and lavishing hard-earned cash on them without sending N1 to their mothers. How do expect guys like that to stand as the man of any home with zero confidence, zero self-respect. They use this same mindset to enter into marriage, they haven’t asserted themselves as something to be respected and desired by the women they are getting married to. Whether you like it or not, it’s a much needed knowledge. I really don’t blame ladies for not respecting guys nowadays, most guys don’t deserve respect; they don’t even respect themselves. These red pills are hard truths, ladies know and practice these things already.

When we did the cbt, I asked him wen they will call d successful candidates n he told me it shouldn't be more than a month. And again after the interview ,I asked wen they will contact the successful candidates. He said its stage by stage, that while selection is going on, they will be paying d tf. He said it shouldn't take more than 1month. Lo and behold, after one month, no apl. August ending, I asked again. He said "why are you anxious like this, if they finish payments, they will go to the next stage. He said he could confirm they have finished collation of list. I know this is true because I can tell from here that they are still paying people as at d beginning of September. We met yesterday evening, and I told him they have finished paying people. He laughed and said "how did u know that? Are u working with the recruitment team" I told him I found out based on d discussions on nairaland that d last time they paid was on Monday and some of us concluded that they have finished paying. He told me we might not be hundred percent correct, that wat abt those that are not on nairaland. And he called one of his colleagues at d headquarters n asked and that one said the reccruitment team has d approved list of the successful candidates already. And they will start sending mail if they finish payment of tf. Brothers and sisters, that's how I postulated my own theory o.

Is there a way we can ask Nnpc for an update in a civilized but public fashion? Let’s brainstorm here.
To the guys saying wait and it will come out whenever it comes out, it’s unfortunate.
Nobody should compare this recruitment to the last. Everyone knows how Nnpc has followed this process up from inception till now. It has been fast and transparent. If all of a sudden it starts becoming so slow and shady, we should demand an explanation.
If Nnpc can public display their activities, I had seen one on their official Twitter handle or so. The recruitment should not be different.
