Please who would be kind enough to post here the recipe for Jellof rice, I wanna try it this week...
Yes, well spiced and garnished jellof rice..
Pocohantas, Preston, Mrfuckalday, Mairaangeles.. Sassysure...Starbucks.
Biko...
Muchas Gracias...

The ingredients I use for my jollof rice:
Fresh tomatoes, red sweet peppers, scotch bonnet peppers, ginger, garlic ( blended together and cooked till dehydrated )
Tomato paste
Onion
Vegetable oil
Chicken stock
Seasoning cubes ( knorr chicken my favourite)
Salt
Curry powder
Dried thyme
Bayleaf

Then for garnishes, you can use any or both of these :
Fresh peas
Sweet corn

Prestonn restaurant and Bar

Eba and Ogbono soup for the culture.

Cooked but I didn't eat.

My first Africa soup, since I joined this forum. No clear short because the visitor was very hungry.

But bro, that Eba I am seeing from a distance, will take me only one molding to finish it.....grin

Anyway nice delicacy and of course delicious meal.

grin @folk and knife for eba and ogbono cheesy
I doubt the scooping process but worth a try.
Can't wait to deal with those fish cheesy
Hot eba and ogbono is delicious! My mom taught me to add some dried hausa fish and smoked prawns...some tinko and mangala cheesy

Forget the folk and knife oh, the uncle did not use it. He said I don't have proper home training grin

I was getting ready to laugh the man while struggling with the folk and knife. You can give a try maybe with Egusi not Ogbono, but nothing like using hands grin

Yeah Ogbono is very delicious.. I also used dried catfish for the soup

It was more than two though. While I was arranging the others on plate to snap, the visitor just stood up and packed everything and press together and say to my Mama that I lack respect.

Imagine I lack respect because of Eba again embarassed

If you see the look on my face, I told him have been waiting for this opportunity for 7 years to take a photo of Swallow.

I was just singing that Omo see Brother song in my mind grin

U hardly see them preparing that their sauce but I think it's like any other sauce u can prepare but with red oil. Tomatoes are roughly blended. Enough fresh pepper.
The fish is soaked in oil, salt, pepper and some maggi or knorr concotion and kept for long so it will penetrate inside before they roast it.
Then there must be utazi.
It's not complete without utazi.
Some cut raw onions inside the sauce.
It's always good to use good quality red oil with good smell.

Basically, if u can prepare good sauce for yam, u are good to go but substitute the oil to red one.

No. There's a particular spice that gives it that distinct taste, but those bole women hardly would tell you or reveal it.

I haven't seen a pizza in this thread for a while, decided to bring mine grin It's wasn't round but was still yummy. It's my favorite pepperoni-style pizza made with home pizza oven. I heard a lot about these but was afraid to spend money on one. Eventually, I decided to google it and came across the review on https://pizzaovenradar.com/. Now I can afford myself a pizza almost every day. The only thing I'm afraid is getting fat cheesy
