Prectega: I wish Rohr would do this. Esiti and Iheanacho are nothing but liabilities and clogs in the wheels of our progress. Tomori is still iffy but Eze I think is there for the taking. And we need a no. 10 badly. Iwobi is at best UNRELIABLE, one good game followed by three anonymous performances, one good dribble followed by some terrible decision making, one good effort at goal followed by three powerless pass-like shots. We need Eze. Badly. 1 Like |

Curtisaxel7: I think Iwobi is very unpredictable and that gives him an edge. However, his ability to put in top level performances consistently is a challenge. Nonetheless, he is still one of our better quality players. I do believe that Eze brings much needed additional attacking threat from the midfield. How effective and good will he be is open to debate. Can he better than Iwobi the possibility exists. But without him being tested how can we know. 2 Likes 1 Share |

It's funny how a lot of people here strongly believe that those South Americans are all U-17. How they immediately become so sure that some of those players can't be a few years older baffles me. This makes me ask these questions: Are they aware that the system in that region is not as developed as that of Europe and corruption is rampant? Are they these players' parents or family members? Have they lived in that country? Are they suffering from inferiority complex such that they believe only Africans can be corrupt or do evil? How do they look at the faces of each of those players and tell they're all exactly U-17?... 4 Likes |

Seriously, a lot of these our players are young oh! I pray they won't be too young to face Brazil sha. Anyway, it's just a friendly, but if we do badly, a lot of people, even here, will never take it lightly. |

BascoVanVeli: Oga, i follow the league and have been doing so for years. I do not have to be physically in the stadium to follw the league. Does Enyimba not have a game too? How come we have 4 Enyimba players? No Kano Pillars, No Rangers. Imama should know better but he ignored better players here. Imama should know better but he ignored better players with the under 23. Well done, Mr defender. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by tbaba1234: 7:13pm On Sep 23, 2019 |
BascoVanVeli: Ofcourse, for pointing out the obvious. Togo does not have a better league. Their league situation is even worse than ours, yet we go there and lose 4:1. Our football will not move forward until we become honest with ourselves. The same thing happened against Sudan but the cracks were covered because of the home win. As poor as our league is, we should be able to get enough quality not to lose scandalously in Togo. 7 Likes 3 Shares |

tbaba1234: No for constantly being negative. Even when we beat Sudan u still were making snide remarks. Players in the league have said that this was a solid team. Bright Silas and Godwin Aguda have moved on so what do you want Imama to get from Rangers. You said we have 4 Enyimba players on the team but you are still whining about Anaemena. Oga this is a solid team that lost to a team that was better on the day. Nigeria is not God. We can lose sometimes. We lost to Madagascar after all |
