Good evening all. I am a first time mum here. my first scan gave me Feb 4 as my edd and the doctor gave me January. last LMP is April 30. don't know which team I belong to?

November mamas please help me. Anytime I see my stomach I’m always crying. I wasn’t expecting this at all. Despite rubbing everything and I thought I wouldn’t have coz my mother never had one . It keeps getting darker and bigger. I really hate myself right now. I don’t want to look disfigured just after one child...

I just feel like I may not love my baby if my body gets disfigured... I don’t see this as a big badge the way other moms claim they see theirs. These disgust me a lot and make me so sad. I’ve always been so body conscious of myself and I’ve loved my body but this is just the height .

Don't worry dear after you birth baby, you'll be too occupied to bother about it and by the time you remember, it'll have cleared. Allow body to stretch in order for baby to have enough space.

hmmmm, it is well.. Body stretches during pregnancy to accommodate our lo and it causes stretchmark in some and other stuffs also.. If it's so bad, you can always Google home made remedy for stretch mark after child birth.. In all,, cheers to that awesome body that's carrying a baby! It's not easy at all.

Pls, at what stage of pregnancy should my wife register for antenatal. Note, this is her first pregnancy.also how do I go about the issue of donation of blood in govt hospital cos I learnt that it is always compulsory here in lagos to donate blood as a requurement for antenatal registration.

my wife enrolled for Antenatal at 5 months. It largely depends at your wife's convenience. For some persons, they register as early as they detect the pregnancy. But if you both are nervouse, you can register ASAP! But most importantly, she should take her vitals seriously. We used Government Hospital Akodo lagos. for our first pregnancy. They will successfully Register your wife for Antenatal immediately without blood donation. The only thing is that, they will attend to those that donated blood first! Before her. Even if she gets there and pick the number one! She must wait for others. Bro, just try and donate as quick as possible in other not to allow her go through the rigours of waiting for a whole day at the hospital. Its not compulsory you must donate if you're not fit. Look for a relative or friend to stand in for you. Better still, talk to the Lab personnel to pay the donation fee. The fee depends on your bargaining power. Should be from 10k upwards or there about. My wife is using same hospital again and i'm yet to donate sef. I seriously need to recover from the last one i donated. Lol! But the good thing is that they're not too keen about the donation this time around. Everyone is been attended to accordingly. Who knows? They might just add the bills for me after delivery. Its well my brother.

I really feel your pain. All the physical changes that we face going through pregnancy especially as a ftm, it’s just all too overwhelming. Just know that you are not alone and so many women including myself feel the same way. But I know by Gods grace that it’s just a phase. Those stretch marks will fade overtime, trust me. Just try and focus your energy on the positive things, you are blessed more than you know. This time next year, you will be laughing at this post because by then you’ll realise it’s all temporary. Dry your eyes babe, you’re beautiful, never allow anything to make you think otherwise.

I force myself to take just folic acid cos if uts importance at this early stage. Am wondering if not taking ferrous tablets has an implication. Currently 8 weeks

Sincerely you don’t need to be depressed looking at your baby alone should make forget those stretch marks.the my stomach itches me this days when I already knew am going to have stretch marks after birth....but I keep telling myself my bundle of joy is more important than stretch marks...and DH will say do you want to model with your stomach after birth don’t worry about stretch..that alone gives me joy..just get something to use on it before you know it it’s gone..
