This is not a good enough reply from a governor. I ask you to borrow me money and you are telling me stories about various large amount you have given out to people on loan, what is my business with that? what I want to here is something like "I don't have money now but I am promising you that before next week runs out, I will call you to pick the money" or better still " take the money" right away. In his reply, there is no mention of the possibility that the road in particular will be fixed. |
