Don’t be an ass

Nahhhhhh I am gonna pass on this.

Looks like it is some stale leftover

Rice is overcooked, plantain is overripe and coleslaw is looking frail and temperature burnt.

I will have to dig inside the chicken to see how edible.

If i can't grow a particular fruit tree in Nigeria, then it's a luxury!

Shop rite “used” to stock it prior to now! Very pricey though, literally 500 naira each

Which one is “mom and pop” Biko?

It’s an online delivery food service. Place your order and have it delivered to you
Jchi9876:

Is "Mistecafe" a national restaurant or mom and pop owned?

Fruit like Kiwi don't stay long in shop, so you hardly see them in Nigeria.

oh I miss "puff-puff" but I don't think I will savor this good old snack the way I used to when I was much younger

Kinda Unhealthy. Those roadside people should be more creative and start filling it up with some meat and vegetable

More like southern hushpuppies with bacon bites uhhhlaalalalalalal yum yum

Lol, you can say that again. Actually I had to learn how to make it myself for hygiene purpose. Almost every day thing now .

On a second note, considering all things, it seems that people don't actually know the difference.

We are here to learn after all.

The Nigerian Irish Potatoe is classified as vegetable not tuber. It has very low calorie content and very ideal for weight loss. The only problem is that it's very expensive. It's called veggie because the starch is minimal. Not noticeable like the rest. It even have less starch than the baking potatoe I use here yet baking potatoe( another type of Irish potato) is very low in calories.

On the other hand, sweet potatoe is full of starch.
As a matter of fact, the sweet potato we have in the east is worst than yam as far as starch is concerned. Not good for diabetic patients. And highly recommended if one want to gain weight.
It's called sweet potatoe for a reason and sweet equals sugar and we know what sugar can do to the body.

I don't get you... have I scammed anyone before??

I need help, and I'm willing to drop my hard earned laptop as collateral to the lender in person first, before I'm loaned the said amount... where does scam come back in?

and BTW, I have a job, but that does not mean emergency needs that require funds when you don't have it, can't occur...

if you can't help, you look away... don't bring down an unknown person reputation with your words

Lol You have a real job and you cannot afford a 30k emergency? You must be kidding me.

If it was REALLY an emergency, the best place to seek such funds will be a portal like this?

Hahahaha try again. Wack format.

Just in case it did not sink deep I am NOT A DEADFOOL

Infact, I should even be the one scared of being scammed, because my laptop is worth two times more than the amount I want to borrow... what if I want to pay back the loan, and the lender runs away with my laptop... but still yet, I'm ready to take the risk because the need for the money is urgent... I wonder what prompted your conclusions

stop using my username to attack me...

maybe you have the best life, but you should know that 80% of Nigeria active workers have no active savings in their bank accounts... I earn roughly 28k-30k monthly, as my job is not stable... in a place like Lagos, it is almost impossible to save much from that...

so tell me other better platforms I could seek such funds from... I would greatly appreciate it..

the reason why most Nigerians fall easily for scams is because when they see scams, they perceive it as genuine... and when they see a genuine request, they see it as format...

seriously, I'm pained greatly by your post... if you don't offer to help, that's different.. but outrightly calling me a scam, that's uncalled for...

and besides I'm not even asking someone to dash me money ooo... I would even drop collateral in person first... and all you can see is format... too bad
