This is the most sensible thing he said in this interview. He should pass it on to Tammy

He can say that because he was never HOT he didn't even get like warm.

He had lots of opportunities in England but could never rise to the occasion. That's why he is in the backwater of Greece.

U aren't being fair and objective in your criticism of Imama at all... I once asked u if u had a personal grudge against the man. now I'm almost convinced that u do..

If Yusuf hadn't been caught on camera collecting bribe,he would have retained his job as the CHAN and u-23 coach.. Imama was just the second assistant coach.. Na condition name crayfish bend ..Imama never asked for the job..the circumstances made him take it...

If at all there's anybody u wanna blame, it should be the NFF... Which serious thinking federation would assigned three teams to one coach! How do they expect him to cope??
Pinnick has been acting all funny about this coaching issue... Christopher Danjuma lead our falconets to one of their worst u-20 performance in history but he retained his job... Aigbohun served us rubbish at the last world cup but retained his job !
Why has Pinnick not said anything about replacing Imama? Assuming we fail to qualify for the CHAN,I can bet that Imama may still be allowed to take charge of the u-23 AFCON!!
Continuity in the national team is good, but when u see incompetency, u get rid of it before it gets worse!!

I'm not defending Imama at all,but try and be objective in ur criticism.. It seems like all u enjoy doing on this thread is to attack the local coaches and players! Its getting lame....

how can someone he objective again...all because I didn't play to your tune.
was Stephen keshi not managing the super eagles job and the CHAN team at the same time during his reign...
was yusuf not managing the CHAN team and the under 23 team too at the same time...

this two coaches achieved results....
trying to use that premise does not hold water....
and also saying Imama never applied for the job... If he is not okay with the job...
please why can't him resign...
is he forced to do the job with a gun threat...?

saying the NFF have refused especially pinnick to relieve this incompetent coaches their jobs.... I totally agree with you...

mind you...pinnick is trying to thread carefully he doesn't have the full support of the APC led government and sports ministry... reason why he is being careful not toil with the job of this coaches especially yusuf at the onset....

notwithstanding he has failed in that regard Still....

please try and know that I am a very blunt person...I don't hide mediocrity....imama and agu have never lived up to expectations at all.

and also the NPFL players have been kind of disappointing too especially when they leave the shores of the country save for Odey recently.

Lille’s summer signing Victor Osimhen continues his deadly form in front of goal after netting his sixth goal of the campaign against Strasbourg on Wednesday evening.

The centre-forward was in the starting lineup despite the return of Loic Remy from injury and it took him 43 minutes before finding the back of the net.

He was equally involved in Lille’s second goal of the game as he assisted Loic Remy's goal to double the lead in the 64th minute.

The encounter ended 2-0 in favor of Lille who are yet to lose a league game at home this season.

Fans were happy with the player's current form and they took to Twitter to express their thoughts on his performance.

Here are some of their comments below:

@beINSPORTSUSA: " Ligue 1's hottest striker strikes again! Victor Osimhen got his sixth goal in as many matches to give @LOSC_EN the lead against @RCSA #LOSCRCSA"

@IndexLen: "Victor Osimhen is such a talent. Won't be at Lille long I think #FootballIndex"

@lesagepro: "Victor Osimhen is not a selfish striker, what a pass for Loic Remy to score the second goal; 2-0 for Lille. A Star !!!"

@Real_jaeflex: "Victor Osimhen Scores again I’m so happy right now"

@TweetAtAustin : ''Victor Osimhen is the player many expected Iheanacho to be. They both will still do wonders for Nigeria.''

@RBairner: "The excellent Victor #Osimhen has scored again for Lille. He's got 6 goals in 4 Ligue 1 home matches and 7 overall. What a brilliant talent LOSC have on their hands. They lead Strasbourg 1-0."

@Mujeeb_Ayo: "Victor Osimhen scores again, call him “goal” now!"

@TheOddSolace: ''This may sound rather simplistic, but it's really not a good idea to allow Victor Osimhen touch the ball inside your penalty area. Bad things happen when you do, as Strasbourg have just learnt."

@JahBuchi: "Goal poacher # Osimhen"

@dopechukky: "Is Victor Osimhen the top scorer in a league that has Mbappe, Neymar and Cavani?"

@ZachLowy: "One of the things I love about Osimhen is that he never gives up on plays. He's not only well positioned, but also constantly focused and ready to pounce on an awkward bounce or a defensive error. Signs of a top goalscorer."

There's no tune for u to play to..I'm not Dj Khalid..

Keshi taking charge of the CHAN team was normal. a lot of African teams use their main team coach for the CHAN... The qualifier isn't even over and u have already concluded that Imama has failed...
Didn't Yusuf himself lost to Benin republic during the last CHAN qualifier? Didn't he eventually qualified for the tournament? And mind u,he never took charge of any game with the u-23. He was exposed and suspended before he could take charge of any game!

U want Imama to resign. In this same Nigeria? Has Buhari resigned? Have all those incompetent governors ruining their states resign? Nigerians don't know the meaning of the world "resign" ..even Pinnick himself is under investigation by the ICPC, has he resigned?
The fact that he hasn't fired Imama and other incompetent coaches in the national team means that he is either satisfied by their performance or doesn't want to spend money on hiring new coach.. ur theory about him being afraid of some people doesn't make sense.. Let's agree Yusuf is being protected by federal character then what about Imama and Aigbohun? Are they relatives of Buhari cabals too?

I find it rather funny that u are suddenly defending Salisu...considering the fact that u used to preach against corruption here in the past.. Seems like Bascovanveli was right about u after all.. U are just like Buhari and his APC minions who openly condemn corruption but condone in secret

I see you to be very matured reason why I engaged you....because I believe I can learn from you also.....

but digressing to say things about me you don't even know makes no sense.

I still support and call for Yusuf reason a corrupt yusuf is far better than Imama...
and that's my opinion.....

Yes Yusuf lost against Benin Rep but not with this Margin....it seems psychologically imama is suffering for away play syndrome. ..he organise his team to always lose away matches... this is the 3rd have seen within the space of two months.

He could easily pass for a 26-year old wrestling fan/white supremacist from Arizona...thankfully, he doesn't look extremely British. His choice of facial hair and hairstyle is indicative of his age, but I can see some Gareth Bale inspiration, just didn't come out as sleek cheesy

Chelsea have registered their first home win under manager Frank Lampard, scoring seven goals against Grimsby Town in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening.

Faustino Anjorin became the latest youngster to benefit from Chelsea's transfer ban following his introduction in the 67th minute as a replacement for Pedro, his senior debut for the London club he officially joined at U9 level.

Aged 17 years, 10 months and 2 days, Anjorin has become the youngest player of Nigerian descent to debut for Chelsea in a domestic competition, breaking the record previously held by Fikayo Tomori, who was aged 18 years, 4 months and 26 days when he debuted for Chelsea in the Premier League in May 2016.

Chelsea led 3-1 at the break; Ross Barkley, Michy Batshuayi and Pedro with the goals for the home team while Matthew Green pulled a goal back for the Mariners.

Kurt Zouma, Reece James and Batshuayi scored to make it 6-1 before Callum Hudson-Odoi found space in the near post and finished emphatically to round out the scoring.

Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham watched proceedings from the bench for the entirety of the game and Grimsby Town's Moses Ogbu entered the game as a sub in the 64th minute

So, u are saying Salisu never lost an away goal while he was coaching in the same npfl Imama coached?
And if Salisu had taken charge of that u-23 team, given his impressive track record away from home(I assume that's what u think), he won't have lost away from home to Libya and Sudan ?
