Buhari should just pay this guys their money...

or Nigeria can be paying installmentally distributed within a period of 3 years....maybe with 2% Interest...

FG should pay up please.
They should start with the crazy wage they pay themselves (the politicians).
But No., the tax payers and masses would suffer for it.
They will start with stealing peoples pension and other tax generated for infrastructure, healthcare and education.

Nigeria still has to pay P&ID $250m
Total to pay $450m within 2 months
I wouldn't be surprised if this is the the real account of what transpired. After all this is the fraud republic of Nigeria.

There was indeed a country. Nigeria go still obviously pay this money any which way. Inept Govt. Let nobody tell me the contract was entered into by past government. Buhari has being in power for 5 years now! Govt is suppose to be a continuum.
. Do you follow this case from the beginning at all? Please refresh your memory.

Lol Nigeria’s oil sales are first paid into American, UK and Dutch banks before being credited to the foreign reserve. The foreign reserve is in turn managed by foreign fund managers. So collecting the money is very straight forward

Why are we playing with these people. Can you imagine anyone getting a dubious a judgement and threatening to seize Russian, Israeli or Iranian assets abroad? The government should put out a statement that any attempt to touch our assets abroad will be treated as an act of terrorism.

P&ID is a fraud and the judgement is a scam.

This British court is adamant on collecting the money.
Telling the country to pay $250m despite the appeal and $200m seems to be grossly wrong.
I would not pay the company $1. I would immediately file an appeal against the terms of the stay in a higher court.
Giving this company $250m for a fraudulent contract is horrible!
If I pay it, I’ll come back home and bill $1bn to Shell Nigeria for some flimsy reason and deduct it from their production for the next 60days. Because that money must come back to Nigeria somehow

Validated:
$200b appears to represent 2%interest on $9.6b. Technically, by the time this appeal is finalised, the total indebtedness might have grown to $9.79b. I am one of those who believe that this government is on a wild-goose chase. Like I have stated before, this mess was exacerbated by the trio of Osinbajo, Malami and Buhari. While the latter was not knowledgeable on the consequences of pursuing the legal option, the duo of Osinbajo and Malami, both SANs should have known better. If they were professional enoigh, Nigeria needed not to go the legal way. This matter would have been settled with minimal damage in the sum of $850m or lower. However, they choose the legal way. We are not told how much they spent on the legal team that lost and how much they are spending on appeal. Perhaps, these legal costs would have paid a third or half of the negotiated $850m.

Their money, How?
Did we borrow money from them? Did they sell us anything we are owing them for?
I don't understand how you expect us to pay $9 billion, simply because a piece of paper was signed by treasonous government officials.

Sanction is not death sentence. Abacha proved sanctions are meaningless if we have a determined government. Abacha was sanctioned by all the major powers, Nigeria did not collapse. Gaddafi withstood sanction by the west for over a decade, Libya stood and thrived. Even Iran was sanctioned with an oil embago for close to a decade and they managed to survive.

Our over reliance on the west and foreigners in general is our greatest problem. Imagine the insults of a mere one man or (is it two man) business giving a whole giant of Africa problems. I don't thing this can happen to any other country on earth.

If you watch NTA lately the way Lai and Malami with vulture head Magu where bragging on TV you will think today Judgement will favor them, I said t before that their going there s to snap pictures and look for international sympathy.......200 million a beg convert an to naira

The day I heard that one oyinbo investor has bought shares in P&ID , I know we are in trouble, from what I read the said man is very influential and can lobby the dead to come back to life , either we like it or not Nigeria will pay nothing less than a billion because GEJ have reach agreement with them before to pay over 700 million

Next time don't vote affidavit in power
