This immunity clause is a disservice to what democracy and good governance stands for...it should be removed from our statutes. 1 Like |

Alanpoza007: I remember people from the south were sympathetic and supported Atiku against Obasanjo during their own battle of the Titans. Now the same southerners are demonizing the VP. I believe the present storm will soon be over because only the national assembly can impeach the VP but why create additional political storm and uncertainty in this difficult times when people commit suicide every day due to hardship? if APC leaders are behind this, then the party is truly dumb. A house divided against itself. |

amaridigital: In the South, only the IBOs supported Atiku against Obasanjo because of inferiority complex. The North was divided between Obasanjo & Atiku. Atiku paid dearly for it. One thousand ants cannot lift one cube of sugar, they can only confuse themselves the more by perambulating around the sugar. There is nothing anybody can do about Osinbajo. They can only confuse themselves and waste their time. 1 Like |

TotoNaRubber: If a graduate of electrical engineering measures his competence by his ability to change a bulb, then he wasted his time in the university. His job includes knowing the amount of tungsten that would ensure the bulb is durable and does not explode. Changing the bulb is the job of a technician who does not need to understand properties of materials. Talking about properties of materials, toto is not rubber according to your moniker. Rubber is elastic. Toto is thermo-visco-plastic. Thermo because its hot, visco because it behaves in a ductile way (think of the solid analogue of liquid flow) and plastic because it can develop permanent strains due to excess stress from many pricks. So before you criticize the vice president, understand your own area. 3 Likes |

Immunity from prosecution is a doctrine of international law that allows an accused to avoid prosecution for criminal offences. Immunities are of two types. The first is functional immunity, or immunity ratione materiae. This is an immunity granted to people who perform certain functions of state. The second is personal immunity, or immunity ratione personae. This is an immunity granted to certain officials because of the office they hold, rather than in relation to the act they have committed. He should know all these. He is a professor 1 Like |

Osibanjo was so perplexed he forgot some of his law courses. I feel for him though but then, he should have known the gravity of holding public office. Well, if he can't cope with the heat, he should leave the kitchen let someone who's immune to heat step to the rostrum! Meanwhile... Are you a teacher? VP Osinbanjo is not just a lawyer but an SAN He is also a professor of law and was the former Chief Justice/Attorney general in Lagos Yet with all this legal qualifications, he seems not to know what the law entails. Not only does he not know the law,he also does not obey the law.he does not follow the antecedents of the law which he studied in school and also practiced for years.he is a disgrace to all lawyers worldwide. A prof of law who does not even obey the same law he preaches about,is that one a lawyer. He is very lawless like his master BUBU and he has done nothing to improve the lives of Nigerians. Professor of law kor,Processor of cores ni Nonsense and SAN |

Calculating: A common charge and bail lawyer, would be postulating and saying he knows more then the professor, that taught him university and in some cases law in school - if he says he want to waive it let it be challenged in court, that he cannot - the idea behind all of this is so that corrupt governors can hide under the umbrella of not waiving their Immunity - if the need arises - none fucktards everywhere - at least we now know your name |

MelesZenawi: So you would rather believe a charge and bail lawyer. This is why you guys always fail in your choices. It is not stated in the constitution whether one can or one cannot waive. The olodo lawyer is just sighting instances where judges gave respect to sitting governors by refusing to revoke the immunity. How about if he wants to resign. Will the constitution prevent him from resigning? These olodo South South lawyers sef |
