Lastorator:You're busy speaking English when someone quoted multiple Supreme court cases that unequivocally ruled that immunity cannot be waived. And by legal precedents, Osibanjo cannot waive his immunity as long as he is VP. |

VULCAN: Awon enlightened one... Which part of the constitution is it stated ? Yeye dey smell. Its Judicial Precedent... And if Osibanjo can distinguish his care from the aforestated cases and show that his scenerio is different, then he could get a diff judgement... |

dochenaj: Was it not the courts that ruled in the US that same sex marriage is not allowed ? Was it not the same courts that ruled to allow it ? In case you know,Judicial Precedents are not set in stones, they are amenable, either by distinguishing or by new circumstances... Its the courts that will determine if he could waive it or not depending on his case |

Lastorator:You need the constitution to be amended before multiple legal precedents on the same issue can be invalidated. And in your analogy on same sex marriage in the US, I hope you realized that the definition of marriage by the law had to change before that could be legal? |
Re: As Vice President You Can’t Waive Your Immunity, Lawyer Tells Osinbajo by Lastorator: 10:09pm On Sep 26, 2019 |
dochenaj: Its called interpretation. Unles the law states categorically that the person to whom immunity is bestowed cannot waive it, the duty will always be on the court to give interpretation as to whether a person can waive it or not... It is untill the law is changed to block that loophole, before we can all say that it is impossible |

dukeprince50: Can you listen to yourself? Osinbajo is a SENIOR ADVOCATE OF NIGERIA. That’s the highest rank any lawyer can achieve in Nigeria. Osinbajo is a Professor. The highest academic title less Emeritus. You don’t have a right to question his pedigree. |

Re: As Vice President You Can’t Waive Your Immunity, Lawyer Tells Osinbajo by Lastorator: 10:57pm On Sep 26, 2019 |
dochenaj: Dont put words in my mouth.. I am telling you that they are subject to change... Even codified laws are subject to change, how much more Jificial precedents, which is reliant on either a single judge or a bench of 7justices |

I doubt if you all read the article. The lawyer said Osinbajo can sue for libel and that's exactly what he will do. |

And anonymous lawyer doesn’t think he knows that?? Lawyer telling a Prof of Law and a SAN what he can waive?? His sentence signifies his readiness to do it if it comes to that. Which would mean he’s willing to resign to get tried, Nigerians and half comprehension LOL |

Osunbande is a thief, well he's a pastor anyway (they are all thieves), and he has fallen into a trap set for him long ago by his boss, THE CABAL Imagine osunbande bragging he would shed his immunity if need be for an investigation to commence, but he was only regurgitating for zombies to lap up as usual 2 Likes |
