Anambralstson: Is Ikpeazu paying you salaries now, the billions he collected as bailout, how many litres of kerosene did he use it to buy? See, that is a FG project site that would benefit the entire SE. Obiano better calls these idiots to order so that their community-wide foolishness doesn't impede the project. This nonsense can't happen in Ebonyi under Umahi. That's why they have projects there in Ebonyi while you are busy telling old wives fables online. 19 Likes 4 Shares |

cjudy: That is exactly my point. A project that is meant to help them and future generations, open up the area for expansive commerce will be frustrated by the local communities who coerce the contractors to sign useless MOU's before the project can even kick off. They bring in impossible demands and later come to claim they are being marginalised 16 Likes 2 Shares |

It's unfair bro, we should learn to also raise ourselves above this people, they only have white skin doesn't mean blacks are useless. I hate them with passion because of their pride 2 Likes |

President Mohammadu buhari has done marvelously well to ingrate south-east and south-south people. My happiness is that works is in progress in that second River bridge. Over a decade many ex-president promise to build that bridge with no avail despite to zone massive votes even Jonathan who hail from that particular zone. Now my able president Mohammadu buhari has create direct and indirect job to the south-sout, south-east and host communities, mostly for people that care to work not naysayers. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Greedy ingrates! Bridge that will SIGNIFICANTLY benefit the local communities, they are disrupting work because of casual labor. Staff that haven’t been working - using rain as an excuse - have been laid off and they are complaining. Imagine disrupting work at a bridge meant to benefit you because you’re wailing about ‘manner of approach’. cjudy: Were you born yesterday? You don’t know this is the typical method host communities use when they want short term bribes and gratification? Is it white men that are going to be carrying sand and stones? FAR more likely that the host community reps want lucrative deals and contracts for themselves. But they know gullible people will fall for this. 15 Likes 2 Shares |

cjudy: Then, it would be stopped. I agree with you 100%. Since greed won't allow those people to have sense. This useless attitude displayed by Omoniles in Lagos and thugs in other places is what they are displaying. Visionless greedy bastards, they can't see beyond their hairy noses. 9 Likes 1 Share |

cjudy: So the contractors should accept substandard building materials at over inflated prices then put their reputation at risk. On what basis should such supply arrangements be made with communities? Shebi it is the oyinbo man that will benefit from the project las las Nigerians. Chai. 10 Likes 1 Share |

gazza07: Your tears have just started. I remember your Senators sabotaged the Lagos Calabar rail like that was supposed to serve the SE states. They wanted to get at Buhari. In the end, they have nothing to show. In the end, you'll lose as always and continue your tears of marginalisation when they abandon your project. 13 Likes 2 Shares |

cjudy: You actually want the project to stop because some people claim they haven’t gotten contracts? You people hate progress in Nigeria. See your mouth like “you can’t do such in their country” as if in their country, you will drop bribes and provide employment for the children of the local ‘big men’ for a project that’s supposed to help them. When Amazon was looking for a city for their new headquarters, American states were lobbying Amazon with tax breaks and concessions because they knew a new Amazon headquarters would provide tens of thousands of lifetime local jobs. Trump kept wooing Foxconn to come set up a factory in the US. But here, you will open your mouth and call for the project to be stopped because of egunje. I wish we could pack all of you people into one country of your own and leave naija for serious minded people. 15 Likes 4 Shares |

Wickedfacts: You're talking bollocks. That's why your politicians can promise all manner of unfeasible rubbish and get away with it. If there was a memorandum of understanding, it should be honoured. So because it is an FG project, the world should bow at their every whim? Whatever they foresaw that made them enter an agreement with the locals, it is wrong to go against them without at least giving reasons. It's obvious because it is not your tribe, that's why you're turning a blind eye. |

Wickedfacts: My brother, leave these people. As we speak, IPNX is digging around and inside my estate to lay fiber optic cables for fast broadband internet. We’re giving them everything they need to accelerate the project since we know that the cable will benefit residents immensely and help boost property values. Not a single person here is asking for cut or contract to provide diggers or trenchers. I remember Akin Alabi sharing on Twitter how a community he bought a transformer for, the area boys demanded bribes before the transformer could be installed. He simply diverted the transformer to a nearby community that also wanted one and left the greedy community in darkness. 14 Likes 3 Shares |

texazzpete:That will be better but unfortunately your Lord did not allow us. If your tribe is still slave to the white people let them continue, mine is not. If they can't obey simple MOU signed by both parties then let the work stop we are tired of people disrespecting us because they're white. And mind you with your stupid mouth, nobody asked them for bribe as you alleged. You only fabricated that from you coconut head. |

Why re some people commenting rubbish? This is like when a foreign company is operating in Nigeria but refuse to employ Nigerians even when is part of the agreement with the people.these people re not asking for "deve" but re simply asking JB to honour the mou and treat them with respect. If you check well some FG politicians ve highjacked the contracts that should go to the host communities. |
