It is a good deal as long as you are okay with stock android which has it's pros and cons.

I wanted to put it out there the Mi CC9 doesn't have Camera2api Level 3 enabled, so no full camera control. Only basic features on GCam works

Ever since I updated this RN7 to miui 10.3.10, the battery performance has gone down.

SOT now averages 5 to 6hrs and the battery graph is quite steep.
The main culprit is Android system. I have tweaked virtually every setting there is to tweak, still no improvement.

I can see on the xiaomi website (https://en.miui.com/getrom-360.html?m=yes&mobile=2) that there is a new rom 10.3.12
Hopefully, this will solve the problem when it is delivered.

Refresh manually by clicking on check for updates on your updater app or change your region to Mexico or Morocco

Modified: You are on EEA (EU) ROM and not on Global Stable. The ROM receives updates late and not on par in updates frequency as Global Stable ROM

Stick to the Global stable you are downloading. You will need to unlock bootloader to switch ROM

There is a reason they have not pushed it to you yet.
I will advise you wait patiently until they decide to send the update to your device.
You might end up getting 10.3.12 or later.

We don't use bands 1 & 2 in Nigeria

Now most Chinese version have bands 3,7, 8, 40. But the CC9 series I noticed that xiaomi didn't put band 7.

Below are the LTE frequencies used in Nigeria.

NB: spectranet hardly works on any mobile phone except their modems and MIFI only few Huawei mobile phones supports spectranet.

I just downloaded but couldn't install the upgrade obviously because I've installed a custom recovery. So I'll have to download the full rom and flash. So no more incremental update for me.
