It is typical of underdeveloped economies that they do not (or are not allowed to) concentrate on those sectors of the economy which in turn will generate growth and raise production to a new level altogether, and there are very few ties between one sector and another so that (say) agriculture and industry could react beneficially on each other.

Furthermore, whatever savings are made within the economy are mainly sent abroad or are frittered away in consumption rather than being redirected to productive purposes. Much of the national income which remains within the country goes to pay individuals who are not directly involved in producing wealth but only in rendering auxiliary services-civil servants, merchants, soldiers, entertainers, etc. What aggravates the situation is that more people are employed in those jobs than are really necessary to give efficient service; and to crown it all these people do not reinvest in agriculture or industry. They squander the wealth created by the peasants and workers by purchasing cars, whisky and perfume.

You guys keep spilling this shii.
Is he spending the pay in Naira?!!

And what exactly do Nigerian graduates earn?

@OP, forget your Nigerian law degree. Most people there won't go for a Nigerian lawyer. They don't even think our accent helps their case. You have to get ready to do any job or look for any specialization that your law degree can help. Maybe taxation or some consultancy in any other field.

They had been migrating even before the dullard got there and they will continue to migrate until we make our own country the Canada everybody wants to live in.

Thanks for your objectives. Some people never see the bright side of evry situation

India , Pakistans ,United Kingdom United States citizens are the highest migrants to Canada.

This says a lot about Canada and not the country the immigrants are migrating from.

Nigeria contributes to the less than 2percent of the immigrants.

Many are coming to Niaja as expatriates and are making it here. Go to the airport and see how many Boeing plane with capacity of more than 350 passengers land every day.

When I am migrating to any country or any Nigerian t will not be based on country, but rather if I have the capacity to sustain myself and family. Not going to struggle or start life all over again and hoping for better. I can make it here easier than depending on warfare .

Please please please please please!!!!! Stop posting these hogwash comments THE BRITITSH DID NOT FUCCKING UNDERDEVELOP AFRICA

Africans are naturally lazy and unproductive human beings.

You are making it sound like Africa was somewhat technologically advanced or better off and the British came to take everything away.

Let me give you an example, the crude oil in Nigeria has been under our feet for thousands of years. None of your lazy and unproductive African forefathers had evolved to the extent of exploring these precious resources let alone developing it for productive use. It took the Europeans to come all the way from their continent and identify, locate and develop these materials that we are killing ourselves over in the name of Niger Delta militancy.

Look at the SECOND NIGER BRIDGE. It is an European company that has the technology and competence to build such a structure that is undergoing the project. Meanwhile the fuccking retardss in the host community are giving the contractors a difficult time over peanuts that they believe is their entitlement. No indigenous engineering company has the capacity to build such a bridge without it collapsing by the start of the next rainy season!!!

THIS IS 2019 FOR FAKS SAKE and the most populous black nation on Earth cannot build a simple bridge!

Ok let me put it in another, I work at the airport and I handle passport from different nigerians going to Canada, in the personal form I have seen many lawyers, not just as immigration lawyers, but most of them work in the legal department over there.

my brother am just amazed at how history is repeating itself with this buhari, during his reign as a military head of state this same scenario played out people were also leaving in droves then, even hunger too was pervasive then as it is now, people were queuing to get milk, rice, sugar and other necessities which were termed essential commodities then
Before babangida came to the rescue
You can now imagine people routing for the same person to come and re enact same scenario are people not crazy or cursed

You need to first take the relevant bar exams before you can practice. You are coming in at level 0, so how will you prove you are a competent lawyer, esp if you don't have oyibo Pali?

It's easy for accountants who worked in PWC or Accenture, or employees of multinationals. But a regular Nigerian - you go hear am.
