The Egyptian Football Federation claim they officially sent Egypt's vote to FIFA on August 15, four days before the deadline.

Their statement had earlier asked 'FIFA why the Egyptian vote was not accepted' and goes on to confirm the EFA have opened an 'investigation' into the circumstances of this failure.

The funny part of the award is that there is always a good reason for under serving mofos to win it. I stopped taking the award serious the day Messi beat Iniesta to win it. Even if they give Lukaku there is always good just as when it was giving to Modric. and now Messi.

Going by whatever magic they used Ronaldo deserved that award last year and they gave it to moderic. Today Ronaldo has left Madrid and moderic has become just like any other player.
This year at the least VD deserved the award considering his performance at the champions league, the EPL and also at the Europe nations league if not they should have given it to Ronaldo cos he won the Italian league and also the Nations league almost singlehandedly but because Messi did well in Spain they gave him the award.
This simply shows that the corruption at FIFA is sickening. No one seems to know the criteria they use. Utterly useless.
