Benwems: Well none can predict the mind of the VO handling your documents. None can say for sure that this is what the VO will do, need or say. I also know that and from the thread.. that some people with even small money in their SOA gets this. So it's all about God. When due, that which is yours can never be taken by any man whatsoever. Whether well packaged or not. But we need to do our part well and leave the rest to him. Good morning friends. 5 Likes |

people are changing to different countries for their admission. i know of Two good people that assist in visa application processes and the guy just called me and told me that he is no more helping people on Canada visa application. he applied for 6 people and they all got denied with the same reasons and this guys are young with travel history, academic progression, enough home ties, enough enough cash and they paid their full tuition but still denied them. he said maybe they have reached their immigration range and feel like not accepting or maybe they have their backs on Nigerians. Either way, all the best to future applicants I also believe they still accept applications Phatkings: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by benque: 8:30am On Sep 27, 2019 |
Here we deal with facts and figures. The only thing confirmed for refusals is the rampant use of illegal documents. Seeking asylum and immigrating are 2 different things. Anyone who studies in Canada already has a very high chance of staying back if they want to so there's absolutely no need to seek asylum. Phatkings: 7 Likes |

Phatkings: Use the LOE - to tackle the concerns raised by the visa officer in your previous refused Application. Whilst, the SOP - will stand to explain your intent to undertake your proposed program in Canada, why the School, future career goals etc..If you don't have much points to present, you can stick to any of the letter either SOP or LOE. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by JustMellow: 9:06am On Sep 27, 2019 |
Sophiesteve: Hello Sophie, The gcms notes points to your study plan popularly referred to SOP as not properly documented. The VO couldn't established a proper demonstration on how your prospect course would be a tangible benefits to your self development/career advancement that would necessitate such benefits to outweigh the urge funds/expenses incurred - you should try to connect or demonstrate how your prospect course is related to your previous course and work experience and the future prospect benefits/importance of the course. The VO also raised concerns about proper documentation, as the VO couldn't ascertain or had doubt about your level of establishment in your home country after assessing both your economic and family ties, then concluded that its insufficient to compel your return to your home country - maybe the way you demonstrated your points/presented your evidence. Good luck! |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by JustMellow: 9:12am On Sep 27, 2019 |
Benwems: It might be difficult to secure a Graduate Diploma in Engineering courses with a 2.2 due to its competitiveness especially in certain universities, but however not impossible. To improve your chances, apply to more schools esp colleges. You can be a self-sponsor if your can satisfy the VO in meeting the requirement of finance, home ties, and other criterion. SOA - State of Account. |

Vesment: If you've not send an email to both Lagos and Kenya, do so. And if you've already done it, re-send again. The only means of notifying IRCC is sending the webform and email, so keep sending. Good luck! |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by JustMellow: 9:27am On Sep 27, 2019 |
ochibuogwu5: Hello Ochibuogwu5, This is the 12th application i have seen for September applicants that has been refused with same generic reasons and most of these application was refused within 14 -19 days, something is not adding up from the end of IRCC. The first step to re-application should requesting for the gcms notes even if it might be a generic reason. I urge refused (September) applicants to always try to notify the house so as to build proper observations and come up with best suitable ways to advise or guide prospect applicants. 1 Like |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by JustMellow: 9:42am On Sep 27, 2019 |
Freshprince777: Hello Freshprince777, In other not to dwell in assumptions and repetitions, request for your gcms notes, then it will be much easier to assess your application. I am assuming now that August applicants are also getting same generic refusal reasons as September applicants. Yours is just short of one - Employment situation. Sorry about your application. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Obehi44: 10:00am On Sep 27, 2019 |
JustMellow:True... Something is not adding up. I know some applicants on this thread(observers) who got refusals this period possibly with same reasons who have not said anything but keeps reading comments. The truth is what you just said, please let's all come out to inform the house. This is one way the house will be able to guess or ascertain what is really going on with IRCC. There are a few here who will do research and or get informations to help prospective applicants and even those of us who wish to re-apply. Although 50% of my mind is out of Canada study visa already. It is better to try other countries because abroad Na abroad. If one still wish to enter Canada one can still do it from else where instead of wasting time and resources on a result of less than 10 out of 100 or more applicants for approval. May God see us through. 4 Likes |

Freshprince777: I feel the refusal reasons here given by the VO is baseless, what is their own self, imagine someone bringing millions of hard earned money to the Canadian economy through tuition and here these vo's they shakara busying refusing people (even genuine students visa) is it even easy? is Canada Heaven self? don't people get sick, grow old and die there? is there no crime there? no accident? no suffering? (NONSENSE) how many people can afford it in Nigeria! This people are beginning to annoy me oooo, monies that can be used to venture into good business here in Nigeria, mtchewwwwwwwwwwwww guy i'm not to discourage u o just order the so called GCMS notes, put things in order and reapply (they also refused me last month on baseless reasons and I am about reapplying for the last time). 2 Likes |

Yet another Refusal letter. First time application Timeline Application: August 1 Biometric: August 6 Eligibility review started: August 8 Biometric validation and refusal letters : Sept 26 Program Type: Postgraduate Certificate in energy management Bachelor: Electrical engineering (3.96) Refusal based on: * Current employment situation * Purpose of visit Resumption: January 2020 Is it advisable to reapply using the same acceptance letter? Or I should just start to process for refund? I don't want to lose on both sides. |

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds: • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your travel history. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your current employment situation. You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee. This what I aslo got... I apply in September. Pls what the next thing? I want to re-apply. |
