I think you are the second applicant cic will be requesting to do this, this week. And from my observation, it's applicable to those reapplying. So I am of the opinion that it is a new development. It shall all end in praises. Peace |

As a new member, I have taken the time to read the thread from 1 to present. You guys are too much. I don't have any question for now (you guys have done justice to virtually all) as I am yet to even get admission into any school. I applied to Dalhousie University (MSc in Business) and I am expecting their response regarding the admission. Also, I am yet to complete my application at Carleton Uni. I know you all will answer me when I need your help. My advice to fellow new members; read the whole thread before asking questions (Trust me you won't have any question after reading the threads) Peace. 3 Likes |

Good afternoon sirs and madams. I would like to know how I can create a highschool transcript. I have my report cards but one of my target schools clearly stated they dont want report cards but high school transcripts. My high school does not give transcripts, just testimonial and WAEC. Two posters on one of the earlier threads stated they created their own but apparently both posters have deactivated their accounts. |

Please I need an urgent advice. I applied on 18th of September. I received another mail on the 19th to check my account for a new message... After logging in to check my application status... I saw confirmation of submission as the heading, I then went on to download the PDF. My thoughts were it's just a confirmation correspondence. When applying I uploaded all documents accordingly including the data page of my passport. I'm kinda confused because I haven't gotten a Biometrics instruction letter up till this moment. I don't know what's going on. Pls, see image below.

While planning your studies abroad, and since most applicants would want to stay back and work in their choice countries after studies, keep the following in mind: List of 32 countries that let foreign students stay the longest after graduation: Countries and number of months/years they allow foreign students stay after graduation to get a job: 1. Turkey - 3 months 2. Switzerland - 6 months 3. Korea - 6 months 4. Japan - 6 months 5. Ireland - 6 months (as at 2017; check updated policy online) 6. Denmark - 6 months 7. Canada - 6 to 8 months (as at 2017; check updated policy online) 8. Greece - 0 month, pack and go after studies (they plan to review this, though) 9. Czech Republic - 0 month, pack and go after studies (they also plan to review this) 10. Sweden - 6 months (they plan to increase this) 11. Luxembourg - 0 month (recently made 9 months) 12. Hungary - 0 month (recently made 9 months) 13. Belgium - 0 month (recently made 9 months) 14. Slovak Republic - one month (recently made so) 15. Latvia - 6 months (recently increased to 9 months) 16. Estonia - 6 months (recently increased to 9 months) 17. US - 12 months. NB: In the US, foreign graduates can apply for a program called Optional Practical Training while on their student visas. It allows students to work in the US for 12 to 36 months depending on a student’s area of study. In recent years, as the US granted more and more time for graduates in science, technology, engineering, and math fields, participants in the program grew by 400% 18. Portugal - 12 months 19. New Zealand - 12 months NB: In New Zealand, lawmakers increased the time recent graduates of certain graduate programs can seek a job and work in the country from one year to two or three. 20. Netherlands - 12 months 21. Italy- 12 months 22. Poland - 12 months 23. France - 12 months 24. Finland - 12 months 25. Spain - 0 month (recently made 12 months) 26. Chile - 0 month (recently made 12 months) 27. Norway - 6 months (recently increased to 12 months) 28. Lithuania - 6 months (recently increased to 12 months) 29. Austria - 6 months (recently increased to 12 months) 30. Germany - 18 months 31. UK - 4 months (recently increased to 2 years for students that'll enrol beginning 2020/2021 session. There is a new push for old students to benefit from this new increase) 32. Australia - 2 years (Already, Australians are worried that even more students would choose the UK over Australia for their educations given the UK's new 2 year increase. Meaning they might soon follow New Zealand to increase theirs to more than 2 years). Is there any country of your choice that isn't represented here? 13 Likes 5 Shares |

This is stale news, even tho its very true.. At least I have known of this some 2, 3 years ago and we have seen quite a number of peeps getting approved.. If I can remember vividly, there was a time on this thread(I thin Part 15) where we had close to 10 Approvals in a week. Its just unfortunate that this is a refusal season for most peeps, no tension house, approvals will start coming in by God's grace.. For those that were refused re-fire, u will surely get it.. Jeanjohnny:I guess this is your first application. They simply mean that you should go through all that you have submitted again. "confirmation of submission" . The meaning is clear. So please if you haven't, kindly confirm your application so that you can get the go for biometric msg. I wish you goodluck |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Nobody: 8:25pm On Sep 27, 2019 |
Please be guided. Confirmation of submission is not requesting any feedback from the applicant. It's a proof that your application has been transmitted to CIC. You have to wait for few more days for your biometrics request letter, after which you can send the nairobi guys mails. Although this is quite strange because biometrics request follows after hours or at most 3 days after submission. It will end in praises. Peace |
