if you work for a multinational firm like kpmg, pwc, deliette, shell, accenture and some banks it would be recognised and you will be given same level as in nigeria

Got a lawyer friend who relocated from Nigeria to UK, from UK to Canada. He's currently in Canada and he said the chancing of getting a Job with that qualification is zero is zero to nothing unless you grade.

He's doing menial job of 4 hours a day and the pay is thrice what graduates in Nigerian earn.

OP to practice law in Canada, you need to be called to the Canadian (provincial) bar and different provinces have different requirements.

To be qualified, you have to take the NCAA and coming from Nigeria, you would have to write 5 courses. The exams are written 4 times a year and you can decide to write the 5 at a go or break it down however you like.

In Ontario, after the NCAA, you have to article ( which is an internship before you are called to the bar) but not all provinces require articling.

As for jobs, you can do anything you want before you are qualified to practice. Some become legal assistants at law firms or legal assistant in firms while going through the qualification process while others go a different route.

So, if you learn well and can prove that you know your onions, you can easily land a job anywhere in the world. And with remote workforce gaining more grounds, you can actually stay in a sane state in Nigeria and earn in dollars.

When you are ready to start small and pay the price for leaving your country, you will always get to where you want at the end. When I arrive I meet so many Nigerians and most of them keep saying I am here because of my children but I told myself I am here because of myself first follow by my children. I started as a security guard, move to investigating and where I am at present but I know my God have a high place for me and my family. Just be ready not to give up what is your dream and putting God first you will make it. I cannot suggest any career for you as you need to think and see what you can do yourself. People will keep suggesting so many career choice but it depend on individual. The first step is to arrive and be prepare to start small. Look at the province you are and see areas that are presently selling. Look at the areas that you feel you can fit in. Sometime not really the money first but the peace you will enjoy in that career.

This information are online as you can come in through express entry, province nomination. I came in through MPNP but because I have a family member that sign for me. I do not do immigration process so please I can only advise you here and I don't sign or collect money. When money or assistant start coming in you should run from that person.
