On this your confirmation of transmission, application number is not there. Did you alter it yourself or i didn't see well or it was sent like that? |

Lemme add to Justmellow's reply to ur Query... Firstly, you need to really work on ur SOP cos according to ur GCMS, it was poorly written, U can check up the guidelines for an SOP on the first page of this part or previous part.. Also work on ur home ties, u failed to convince the VO of ur establishment in ur home country i.e they do not see how the program you chose will benefit u on ur return to ur home country.. (You failed to convince them in this area too).. So my advice is that do not rush to re-apply, really take ur time and do ur research on how u can write a convincing SOP, and when u are done, u can send to any of the GURUS to vet for you... Good luck.. Peace Sophiesteve: |

Good day everyone Please i need your help on what to do. I got admitted for a pgd program and was asked to pay my first semester fee before September 16 which i paid and applied for my student visa on September 21. I checked my email 2 days ago and saw that i have been admitted for a masters program. Should i cancel my current application and reapply with my new admission? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Blema111: 10:27pm On Sep 27, 2019 |
This is just an encouragement to those awaiting visa decisions and those yet to apply. Regardless of the outcome, please don’t give up. I read here about a guy that applied up to 5 times before being granted study visa and the case of Dera. It’s heartbreaking for a person to be refused once and the person decides to give up. There are those that have gotten after the first attempt and those that are still getting. Please do not lose hope!!! 3 Likes 1 Share |

I do not think it is true. Asylum seekers are usually people who cross the border from US. However if this is so, then those using study permit for Asylum are doing so at their peril. Cos once you come into Canada on Asylum basis, you cannot apply for the express entry program or the provincial nominee program which many student can avail themselves of when they are done studying. Hello everyone, I heard something really interesting today, and i thought to share. This is just a side note, especially with regards to the conversation on reasons for visa refusals. Reciprocity is the major thing here, apart from other factors of eligibilty. One of my professors stated that one reason Canadian Visa is hard to get is based on international relations of countries on visa procedures. Thus reciprocity is at play... Sadly the citizens are the pawns. He narrated that Nigeria, and Brazil are known as countries difficult to get a visa to. The process he said is a mirror of how IRCC treats citizens from these countries. I kinda saw a sense in what he said, given the recent situation with US embassy regarding approved US visa for Nigerians. |

Good day house. Has anyone received offer for admission from SFU for spring (January) 2020? I applied for M.Sc. Computing Science, yet to see any green light. If resumption is January and they have not started giving the offers, how long do they expect one to process the application for visa? |

Christycode: This should be a new development from IRCC - you can upload the biometrics receipt that was issued to you at VAC after your application submission. |
