$9m is nothing to the Patriots oh! They have their set ways and detest distractions so I knew it was a matter of time before AB was out. I am shocked you bought the zobo narrative that AB planned his move to New England all along when in actual fact he was scampering for anything. You are right though, Oakland would have hidden this incident. I think its over for AB as far as long contract commitment with huge financial rewards, that is if his career is not over.
That's money they could have used to cover other holes in the roster as the season went on. Trust me nobody likes dashing awoof money less than Bill Belichick. The only positive is that unlike the Raiders they didn't lose any picks but the Raiders unlike the Patriots didn't give AB any money.

I don't think the move wasn't planned to an extent. Don't forget Drew Rosenhaus is his agent. Trust me the speed and predictability of this deal was definitely fishy, what I believe or suspect happened was the Patriots were completely blindsided by this Pandora's box that was opened. I don't believe New England make this deal if they were aware this matter existed

I don't think any smart team will touch AB till the full outcome of this case is determined. AB is too talented to be without a team for too long however as for long term guarantees he can kiss that one goodbye. More importantly I worry that CTE fit dey worry am. His behavior is very far apart from what we Steelers fans remember him being

Honestly, this forum is close to dead already. The lack of competition and the active members on threads are the only thing keeping it alive at this point.

No way he is getting that amount, not even close. I expect us not to push for a contract extension this year and that means he will be a free agent after this season. I will take my chances and have Brown play for his contract with us or with anybody else. I love the guy and I have been a strong supporter but he is not more important than Smart who we paid $52M.
There are aspects of his offense that he needs to brush up before he can command that kind of money and that includes consistent perimeter scoring, quick jumpers and on defense he has to be more patient and stop fouling out.
I will be shocked if D. Ainge gives him that extension before October 21st.
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 2:44pm On Sep 26, 2019
I hope Joe Maddon has already packed his bags because I am all in for him to leave. I said this before the start of this season after a dismal performance in the playoffs last year and this year, it is totally unacceptable how we chocked a playoff possibility. We can not win away from home and batting was a mess not to talk about the bullpen.

Thank you for World Series and the memories.

One question please.

Will Vicoladipo play for the pacers against Detroit pistons on Oct 24th?
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 5:27pm On Sep 27, 2019
KD sha. You left OKC and the Warriors, got all you wanted but the story is how OKC was fake and how the Warriors never welcomed you. And now Irving is chapping nonsense. I wish those two good luck but na suffering las las.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:34pm On Sep 27, 2019
Who are these crack addicts at BR and ESPN that compile these useless lists every year?

Someone did a list and put Klay Thompson at #49 putting Zion friggin Williamson ahead of him

Then we have an all-time list from BR and this clown actually put David Robinson and Steph Curry ahead of Kobe Bryant. Lmaooooooo

Lol. I saw the video. The guy makes me laugh. He should just remember that KD called Mark Cuban and idiot for Russell Westbrook and then left him that very season.

They should enjoy themselves. They are fit for themselves. Kyrie is the alpha dog in the relationship.

The Bills defense is ferocious. I don't think you should have been expecting anything different.

Wetin do your Packers and why is Rodgers throwing 4 times in the end zone? Them forbid them to run the football

You know how I feel about A G.O.A.T Rodgers but sometimes he complicates simple plays because he wants the highlight plays. I don't care what was called from the sidelines, he had no business throwing the ball at the goal line especially when our number 1 receiver D. Adams was out. He should have run the ball 4 times and we could have been in to get a tie or a 2 point conversion attempt, at worst a QB sneak should have sufficed. That loss was on Rodgers for me, I don't care how many times he threw it prior, he had no business throwing it at that stage especially since the Eagles defense was hot and aggressive. This was reminiscent of the Seahawks decision to throw in the end zone instead of running the ball with M. Lynch which cost them a Superbowl.

Lmaoooo that your overrated Rodgers. Faced with a much smaller field where he couldn't throw his usual 45 yard heaves he couldn't diagnose that Eagles suspect secondary. Lmaooooooo.

He's lucky that the one really good team with the defense to give him fits are stuck with Trubisky at QB

Honestly, it is a shame the Bears have Trubisky at QB. With that ferocious defense, good width players and strong RB players, they are a QB away from challenging for the SB. Abeg leave my GOAT for me like that. grin angry

Trubisky is injured. I hope they get a real QB soon would be terrible to waste Khalil Mack's prime. To think they could have drafted Mahomes.

Una no dey tire? Is this the biggest problem on this forum?

This the offseason for the NBA and not many posters on this forum are interested in the NFL, a handful come here to talk about the game once in a while and you have a problem with it? I am not interested in an NFL thread with 2 posters that will disappear because of a lack of activity. We discuss the MLB, NHL, MMA, boxing, athletics, and other sports that don't generate as much attention here but the focus remains the NBA.
