Yes am married...am a senior official working with the government but my husband attached all his work documents, bank statement, pay slips to support me...we have a Us citizen daughter..we also attached two buildings of ours...and my husband is not going which I thought it's a tie back home...my invitee in Canada is my husband cousin...

I guess the major issue is tie with Canada. Your husband who has some “link” with your host is not going hence jeopardizes the reason why you are going there....effectively you don’t have any connection with this person. My thought though.

Ok , thanks guys... I will stay positive ...is it safe to mention the bank ? Well it’s that bank that Recently merged wink. I will keep every one updated

I am sponsoring my self so I guess I’m not in that category ...prayers up

Candybright:

It may be a good time cos walahi, If your application doesn't meet up, they won't even bother with verifying anything. But I've seen a case where after verifying applicants personal statement with bank, refusal still came though the applicant had sponsor and I guess the denial was based on the sponsorship.

Hi guys, my cousin that lives in Canada wants to send an email to Canadian embassy to back up the invitation letter he sent to me, should he send it to their embassy here in Nigeria or in Kenya where they are processing the visa?
Anyone?
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by pufframmy: 10:04am On Sep 24, 2019
Ohh is for your dad I thought it for u that cool
Nesoalba:

Pension verification document for my dad
Travel history for dad
Work history for my dad
Letter of invitation
Proof accommodation
My bank statement
Letter from my place of work
Utility receipt - part of proof of accommodation
Booked flight ticket
Tax document

I forgot to submit my permanent residence details but I guess it was easy to pull based on my tax data.

Sending email to the embassy does nothing....

Hello Guys, I recently got PR and would be relocating in December. I intend to apply for a visitor visa for my mum so that she can come with us. I don't know if this is the right place, but I need guidance on how best to apply and the necessary documents to submit. Note that she's retired and doesn't have any source of income per se.

I think it is too early for you to apply for visa for your mum based on your recent PR. Technically you are not yet a permanent resident until you land in Canada. Your PR is approved but will only be granted upon arrival at Canadian port of entry. With this said, you don’t have necessary document to back up her application: means of livelihood in Canada, accommodation, tax, PR card, bank statement because you will be responsible for her expenses based on your note above. I will advise you do your landing, get a job, stable income source, proof of accommodation: rental agreement, utility bill etc before you apply for her. From experience it will take you 6months to settle in and that is when I will advise you to put in her application. Note this is my personal thought as a Canada resident but my thought may be wrong.

To God be the glory. My mum's TRV application was approved on Friday. I took the risk and reapplied online immediately and submitted more detailed documentation (letter of clarification for the refusal, purpose of travel, letter of invitation, updated bank statements, budget breakdown) this time. I resubmitted some old docs I used before. With God, it turned out well and in less than a month 21st Dec to 18th January (despite the holidays in between), we received passport request. Thanks for the advises. Please don't give up after a refusal. Try and be detailed as possible the first time and hope for the best.

Hello Guys,

I want to find out if there are ways to updating travel history in a submitted online application.

Haven submitted my application yesterday, I intend traveling to the Uk next two weeks. Are there ways to send a new travel history and stamped passport to further support my application?

Thanks for a million
