My answer had already taken care of that ROM is a firmware and has nothing to do with hardware.

Note the RN5 also had a 6/64Gb version exclusive to China and people bought it with a global ROM like the 6/64Gb RN7.

Also there you are confusing a heavy OS for ROM management. MIUI is heavier than HIos or Xos because it comes with a lot of more features that runs in the background. And I used a 2 GB ram Tecno Camon CX Air and when I clear up my ram I hardly had half of the 2Gb available for use.

I'm just saying Xiaomi should consider going full smartwatch mode on the fit tech, or they can accommodate both - designing a smartwatch while also retaining their MiBand series.

The mi bands are like $25, the amazfit watches are more expensive and are direct competitors to the Garmin's and fitbits of this world.. Different products.

So if you work nights and sleep during break that's all it will record..

If you need something that does more, go for the honor band 5, they have even added SPO2 ( blood oxygen monitoring) and it has a bigger screen and better screen display the the mi band 4.. Both bands are excellent depending on what you need, the only advantage Mi band 4 has, is the ridiculously superior battery life, with the honor you get about 5 - 7 days with constant notifications

obviously wrong info by the infinix phone. Same way fake phones will show 6gb ram but are actually 1gb or less.
