I don't know if it's too early to say this or it appears to be an unpopular opinion, but I think selling iwobi for good money (despite his inconsistent form Over the past 3-4 years) and having a natural winger(Saka) tho a youth still have go at the left wing; appears to be decision that makes sense to me

I'm only happy if we sold Iwobi and Emery gives saka chance for him to show his worth (which I pray and hope he'll) or Nelson take that spot. Or both are fighting for that sole spot, then I believe it's a great decision. But if after selling him, Emery is still confused and start putting midfielder there, then it's a wrong decision. I just feel the greatest decision made sha, was loaning out mkhi, cos with him still in that team, no hope for saka or Nelson.

I feel similar, it would turn out good if Saka does a Sane/Sterling and he be the surprise wonder of the season, or if Nelson hit an unbelievable form, aside that, fans will miss Iwobi at some point.. Deploying Auba or any midfielder there will make our attack blunt..Also Iwobi was a game changer from the bench,we do not have that personality ATM.

You see yourself, just a gentle reminder so you want saka to do sterling/sane but when we bring out guen or compare him with top midfielders you guys are quick to judge us.
Any way, I also wish the same for saka and Martinelli those 2 boys will be fearless.

Your wahala too much jare, me wanting Saka do a Sane is just a wishful thinking and not putting him under pressure.
if he continues to grow like how I support the gradual growth of likes of Bellerin, Holding, Guen et al...it'll still be fine by me..I just want him do well so I can to see sweet attacking football from the wings and to finally forget Iwobi...

You're right, Martinelli's goals showed he'll be a risk taker, he and Saka for thier age are so fearless, I just hope injuries doesn't hamper thier growth like that of Walcott, Wilshere and other past youngsters.

.
Walcott started fearless, running into anything, going past players with ease, creating space, unlocking tight defense, winning us fouls, penalties and set pieces..
Remember his performance against barca,Milan and Liverpool those days in UCL knockout stage..
I believe injury killed the guy, he missed world cups, Euros, large part of seasons over and over, I think it affected him and started playing safe and that's more reason he turned out shitty..

Holding and bellerin have tasted England's long vacation injury, if similar happen again,I fear they will return all never look like fulfilling thier potentials.

what you said up there is so on point. How I wish emery will make saka and nelson to fight for that spot, then one of them will surely be a breakout star this season.
Let's keep our finger crossed for today's match sha. I really really hope to see saka and chambers starting. We need max 3 points now that man u are somehow available ( tho, I'm not underrating them esp at old Trafford)

I am afraid for martinelli more than saka, the boy should be careful.
Against forest, he was putting legs in dangerous places.
I don't want EPL boys to send him to the medics embarassed

Really?
the only quality xhaka has is his long pass accuracy and david Luiz got that covered,

......not to mention luiz defensive attribute and his ability to organise the midfield, something xhaka lacks

I love players with guts, Saka risking his legs for that red card at Frankfurt, Martinelli's impossible header in that tight corner, Guen running at Villa risking his legs and body to win penalty are good signs for the future..
If those boys can survive a season ending injury through their formative stage, then we're bound to see a daring Arsenal side in years to come.
Walcott, Wilshere and Diaby could have dominated EPL.

grin grin grin

I can tell u that if Guendouzi and Xhaka no get injury at the same time, Luiz will never smell that midfield.

I don't trust David Luiz. He's got those qualities, but I would go with a more familiar evil.

Since we can now afford to play without Luiz at the back, I believe we can partner Luiz with either Guen or Xhaka at the DM.

I just can't trust him especially when someone like Torriera is still an Arsenal player. If not that Xhaka is bound to play, I'd picked Torriera and Guendouzi is midfield. As for Luiz, men me doesn't trust that guy for now.

enough bodies that cannot dominate weak teams like Watford and aston villa undecided

.....IMO david Luiz is the only recognised DM hat can properly defend and hold the midfield without getting bullied easily

I can bet you that as far as Emery is still Arsenal manager and We have two fit Midfielders in Xhaka and either of Torriera or guendozi: You may never see Luiz in that DM position.

A midfield of Luiz, Ceb and Torera will be solid in a 4-3-3 as far as I’m concerned.
